I see that you must be a U.S. citizen for this scholarship :/
I’m a DACA recipient who just got accepted to PT school for this upcoming Summer 22’ and it really is saddening how these opportunities are extremely limited to people who are DACA students.

I got super hyped and excited to watch the video but then I saw that I wasn’t even eligible. I really wish scholarships were open to non-eligible citizens like myself who came to the US as a young child. I’m already open to the fact that I’ll be wallowing in student debt from PT school but damn this one sucks extra. 😔🥺

If I'm a latino (100% Puerto Rican & US citizen), can I still apply to one of the scholarships?

I love this video! Being cognizant of the socioeconomic gaps and how that affects the PT profession is crucial. I am a first year SPT so I don’t qualify since you have to be an undergraduate who just got accepted, but I am just really happy that this is an option for other POC.
