The OG mlp infection

Revisiting childhood videos, as a full fledged fanfic author now. And with inspiration from mlp infections on tiktok, let's write a backstory.

Pinkie Pie was scared, not the childish fear of monsters in the dark. Not the kind of fear that could be abated by hiding under a cover. This was dread, it soaked into her bones, something was wrong and she couldn't figure out what. The day had started normal, it was Twillight's birthday, so she'd spent the day preparing the party. Ignoring the nausea that made her dizzy, she did her work as a friend. But after the party had started, she'd started feeling worse. Her head felt like she had been stuck inside a church bell. Her jaw radiated pain, she excused herself from the party. And now, all of the pain was gone, she felt so much better. But now everyone was gone, it was dark and she was alone. She needed to look around and see what happened. Surely someone was nearby to tell her. So she began to walk, trying to navigate the darkness. Then she stepped in something, thick and warm, looking down, she saw the deep crimson liquid reflecting her grotesque visage back at her. "_oh that's right, I was so hungry_" she croaked from a bloody oversized maw. The darkness finally ebbed away and she looked around at the mangled corpses of her friends, ponies from all over town torn to pieces. Tears began to fall from her glowing blue eyes. The once joyful Pinkie Pie watching in painful sorrow as her body feasted on a mangled corpse. Powerless to stop it.

I heard of this song from this amazing speedpaint years ago, I never knew about Melanie Martinez before. Yet I'm here again after I'm in one of those moods again. I don't know why but this image and song doesn't produce fear on me, but sadness and rage. I kinda relate to it, in the sense I feel like a little demon alien trying to be happy sometimes, I don't know. I think images express it better than words.

Lord:pinkie pie turned mutated from eating to much candy one was poisoned with something?anyways her jaw starting slipping off the pain was relieving after all she was jsut stuck in a happy land so she never felt pain before then she lost it she spread the disease to every other pony and now they all sit in darkness little do they no that they are gonna become mutated.pinkie pie was still happy yet so sad
She want everything to be normal she started crying with her mouth in a big smile(smile smile smile)she forced her self to smile as nothing was gonna change and nobody heard a word from pinkie again(see the lore of rarity)

I remember the first time I saw this was when my sister introduced it to me in I wanna say 2016 when it came out, it was also the first time I heard Melanie Martinez (still listen to het now) and I find myself frequently coming back to this video when I listen to Pity Party, or when I need inspo because i am now an artist myself :) thank you for being absolutely timeless
