Of course it's good when you're cheesy team stacking, anything works well with Agatha on dark forest.

The highlander sword is so bad now it's insane, just a significantly worse greatsword/longsword. What a waste of 20 levels

I feel that the Chiv devs liked to draw on real life applications or advantages of each weapon to decide which attack to make really strong on a weapon. The greatsword and battleaxe for example have strong overheads, naturally, spear and rapier have stronger stabs, messer has strong everything. The highland sword and especially if you're running the executioner sword skin would indicate that it's a very executioner sword-like weapon. They would've been used in higher ranked executions to allow an executioner to better horizontally decapitate the sentenced on their knees. So if nothing else that should at least be an excuse for it to have at least 55, maybe 60 damage slashes.

I learned recently that someone is named Ziggy in Chiv 2 who is asked frequently if they are you and apparently, they really hate being asked if they are the same Ziggy. Not that I did it or anything... Thanks for the great HS demo

You know I would like to personally thank you Ziggylata. I didn't think that there were many Chivalry 2 context creators or if the game was good at all, but still, I wanted to play it as someone who is into History and gaming, I wanted to play medieval stasher, and to my surprise, it was great of course the has its flaws, every game does, it doesn't have as much customizable for it weapons or for it character but I digress, and thanks do in no part of this very video I'm getting better and better with my vanguard and my Highlander sword. So I wanted to give my thanks to you and this community thank you and still frosty.

The hardest part of using the highland sword is getting vanguard to rank 20 to unlock it. I have been playing this game since the day it came out.

that is literally a disadvantage tho. The requirement to be careful for the weapon to excel in comparison with other weapon gives it that disadvantage

Calling current Highland Sword an amazing weapon is as non-sensible cringe as calling the Long Sword an unusable mess. For those that play Chiv 2, you know how broken op the Long Sword is/can be even against the 1 other broken op weapon Dane Axe. Let me log on one second...

Edit: As someone with Highland Sword rank 227, over 18.6k kills with the weapon I'd hope my opinion can affect some people when i say the weapon is straight garbage now. They literally made it un-usable/not worthy of being used-- It deals the exact same damage as the Greatsword except being DRASTICALLY slower, EXTREMELY vulnerable to being ckuntered even from newbs, a dramatically damage nerfed Thrust attack (they forgot to buff it since all other damage values are like Greatsword anyway), and unless you want to play tryhard or seemingly always playing 100% on point like this guy you won't enjoy using it. Oh, wait i gotta give it its bread its (ultra slow) heavy overhead deals 100 damage still and capable of 1 shotting Archers and 2-shotting every class in the game...just like Greatsword heavy overhead that deals 90 damage but 1-shots Archers and 2-shots every class in the game except the Greatsword is fast, UNIVERSALLY SUPER VIABLE, and you dont have to tryhard to use/make excuses for the weapon to claim it's good.

Crying killed the Highland Sword peeps, as many others have already said. If i remember right, before this last Highland Sword nerf, it got nerfed 3 (YES, THREE) times before they just gave up and literally made it a sh*t version of the Greatsword. Now, no one is crying anymore-- no one is using it. The Messer, a regular two-handed sword, deals higher damage in a regular swing AND swings twice as fast. Make that shi make sense. That's why we all just moved on to other Weapons.

What i will say is-- this guy spoke a lot of great facts & tactics, take everything he has said/done and utilize it on point-- on an actually good weapon.
