Ответитьhow ABOUT MOISTURE BUILD UP BETWEEN STUDS AND BOARDS
ОтветитьIt really amazes me that people are willing to spend a fortune on composite material that will outlast the most important part of the deck, the backbone. So you're willing to pay 3'x more for a material that will last a good 20 years plus, however the structure will fail and all of the expensive material will need to be stripped from your framing so the framing can be rebuilt. Good luck putting it all back together after that.
Shouldn't the backbone, the foundation be the most important building block?? All you're doing is wasting your money on a cosmetic that will outlast the backbone of your deck. You're still going to be in the same boat as you would be if you just go with pressure treated lumbar. Only you wont have to spend 3x's the money.
This composite material is a scam. Why don't you question "WHY" they can't make composite framing material. Seriously people, stop wasting your money on this garbage!! You're still going to have to replace the framing and all of that ridiculously expensive composite decking you put down is going to need to be torn apart regardless. Just use pressure treated and save a ton of money. Think about it, that same pressure treated decking board the composite sales man is knocking is the same pressure treated wood they use to build the framing. Sure the decking will last, but the framing wont. That's the part the salesman fails to tell you when he talks you into spending 4 grand on decking vs 1500 on pressure treated.

Nice video. thanks.
ОтветитьPEOPLE BEWARE!!! they denied my claim, in our brand new home, after using the products they suggested, failing to get back with me in a timely manner, and being VERY UMPROFESSIONAL...before you spend mega bucks on this product like we did, please listen to the warning, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WARRANTY...this is BRAND NEW, lots of fading from sun before we even moved in, shortly after the home was built...lots of fades, discoloration and it gets worse with each day, they are doing absolutely NOTHING, and have treated me in a very unprofessional manner, I will be posting emails, photos, etc, to prove what I am saying in a few days.
Ответить(heavy sigh) Lose the music!!
ОтветитьGood info; godawful music. Stick with installation advice and s***can the music. It's annoying and adds nothing.
ОтветитьDid You make it with woodprix instructions?
ОтветитьButt seam with no expansion gap?
ОтветитьLove the music. Can I buy a cassette tape?
ОтветитьI love nice job
ОтветитьJust curious about the framework beneath the Trex strips. It appears to be untreated fir or pine. In the Pacific northwest, you would be very lucky to achieve a 5 year lifespan with that deck.
Repairing the resulting mess will require total dismantling and replacement of all that wood and work. Hopefully, I am not focusing well this morning!
lose the music!
ОтветитьSo I can pee on the deck and it won't stain, right?
