Is Internalized Capitalism Driving Gifted Folks to Compulsively Prove Their Worth?

The feeling that we must keep obsessively achieving is known as internalized capitalism. When you’re already predisposed to intensity and a drive for knowledge, like gifted folks are, this combination can result in a very unhealthy work/life balance. What can we do to dial down that frenetic, urgent feeling that we must constantly be making good use of our giftedness and living up to our potential or something bad will happen?
