WOW! Great job by 4 well trained hard working firefighters. Thank you for what you do.
ОтветитьThank You...
ОтветитьIn the UK this is classified 'persons reported' and the normal attendance of two pumps to a house fire is increased to three pumps with ambulance. There is no feeling like it when it pays off and you succeed. All too often we are sadly unable to save them so when you do....well....big, big smiles. Nice one guys.
ОтветитьWith you as firefighters it is simply the same thing as it is with me as a pilot of a Boeing 747-400/747-8F! Good training and good skills and also a good team is the best way to get control of any kind of dangerous situations that could endanger you and your fellow colleagues and the people who have to be rescued in such a terrible environment during a fire or in my situation in an emergency during the flight in the case of emergency! Sure and thank God, I had never such a terrible situation like you and your colleagues had during this fire and I hope I will never have such a situation during a flight, but I also had some smaller incidents during some of my flights but they were not so dangerous like the situation you had in this fire with this woman there, but we as a team inside the cockpit we are also good and well-trained in all kinds of situations and we have to react also very quick and precisely and as a team in the case of emergency to do the best and right things and decisions in this cases! I have my highest respect for all firefighters in the world and I must say that you are so fantastic and great and wonderful and I am really astonished how you manage this kind of things there and in all firefighting and rescue situations and if I were in your city I would feel me very safe out there because of you guys and I must say that I hope you will be safe and sound everydays during your duty and that you will come home to your family and friends safe and healthy and happy! So for now, I wish you all the best in your life and stay safe out there and take care of you all together, lovely greetings from Sarah 👍👌👏💖✈️👍👌👏💖✈️👍👌👏💖✈️👍👌👏💖✈️👍👌👏💖✈️
ОтветитьI couldn't be more proud of these guys. They are smart, and they are capable. If it can be done, these guys can do it. God bless each one.
ОтветитьTo think from the time they where in bed to the time they where safe out the window was only 7 mins is wild
ОтветитьOutstanding
ОтветитьYou guys are amazing! Thank you for all that you do.
ОтветитьYou and your team should be proud of a great job done. Isn't adrenaline a great help eh. 😀 been there , done that. Ex uk retired fire captain 30 years service .
ОтветитьThe real, true, bona fide, flesh and blood heroes of our lives : the Firefighters!... Thanks to all of them everywhere!
ОтветитьOne truly amazing video. Melted my heart and made me cry. You guys really do deserve the world. To run into a fire whilst others run out takes real guts. No amount of training could ever prepare you mentally for the amazing job you guys and gals do. I can't imagine the images of your family/friends and loved ones running throu your minds and the sheer panic if you are going to make it home for dinner. You are true heros. Much love Rie Cornwall u.k. 🖤
ОтветитьAmazing story.
ОтветитьA great example of EXCELLENCE
ОтветитьVery inspiring! Proud to be an Oregonian.
ОтветитьWow, amazing story, 7 minutes after I wake up, I am still asleep.
I am curious if the design of the house and construction materials or decor made for unusual fire conditions or was there an accelerant used?
You know I realize that not all fire stories have an exceptional ending, but you guys all need to know that you are very much appreciated and needed everyday, so please remember that not just on your best days but on the worst days too!!! Thank You for what you do, always!!! And congrats on those awards!!!
ОтветитьWonderful rescue...i wonder why the guys waiting below didnt spot the ladder on the ground that the firefighter had seen?..perhaps they were all looking up incase the lady fell to catch her.
ОтветитьGreat job! Truly overwhelming situation. Could you explain more about how you got the victim out of the window and into your lap. Never practiced bail out with a rescue. Thank you. Amazing how quickly things change and some panic sets in. Mind boggling. Thanks again!
ОтветитьThe rule in the U.S. is 2 in & 2 out. Where were the 2 out?
ОтветитьTraining, training and more training. Awesome.
ОтветитьGoes to show that people shouldn’t be on the radio just to be on the radio.
Say what you gotta say- be quick. Be succinct.
Don’t have a mic keyed while you’re Uhhing and hmming.
HEROES!
ОтветитьHmmm
ОтветитьTrue Heros.... My Heros..All firefighters are. You guys deserve so much appreciation. God Bless you, stay safe and know that we honor you greatly
ОтветитьNicely done boys, be safe and remember “everyone goes home. Peace” ❤️
ОтветитьThis story is truly awesome. The bravery to go into a burning building and risk their own life to safe a random helpless stranger defines a true hero. Thank you for your service
ОтветитьThank you for running into situations most people would NEVER do! My son is a firefighter here in our hometown and I’m very proud of his dedication. I pray for firefighters everywhere every day! God bless you!
ОтветитьAmazing men
ОтветитьOregon City has a connection to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Hot Springs recently had David Frasher as City Manager. He's from Oregon City. Interesting
ОтветитьDefinitely heart touching. It's so important to know your team members capabilities and have full trust in them. Well trained members is a life and death difference. Thank God they knew exactly what to do in a second! Well done guys! Thank you for serving us!
ОтветитьWow! What a story! Nice to see the lady ok and it was heartwarming to see that she really "got" it!
ОтветитьWell done to you all. Good bless🙏🙏
ОтветитьAs an active retired IAFF LOCAL 964 member, I can truly say that what you guys did was “HEROISM OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER” on this incident, and I Thank You for a Your Service !!!
Barry P. Broyles, Captain, Retired, Baltimore City Fire Department.
Fire Fighters are worth their worth their weight in gold. God Bless them.
ОтветитьGreat job guys!! True definition of heroes
ОтветитьIs HR 305 a quint apparatus. I hope so.
ОтветитьTrain. Train until it hurts. Do it over and over and over until it's instinct. "I was asleep 7 minutes ago..."...and now he's doing a live victim rescue bailout. Training. Bleed in training not in battle.
ОтветитьI can see why you all are so close when you have horrible fire conditions and you managed to save each other and your patient. You are truly heroes !
Thank God for all of you !!
smoke detecters work get one and use it it will save lives
ОтветитьThere is heroic, and then there's this. This is above and beyond heroic to the point of self sacrifice. This was a situation that you wouldn't expect even the most seasoned firefighter to go into. The risk (of entrapment or death of all involved) of this was too high, and the reward (chance of rescuing the victim) was too low. Yet these two heroes made what can only be deemed a gritty, and miraculous save. These are the kind of firefighters I would trust my life and safety with no questions asked. They really deserved that Valor Medal. Thank you Clackamas firefighters for your service, and showing all other fire services what can be accomplished with teamwork and the proper training.
ОтветитьMy brothers!! You are why we do what we do!! Back in my days there was only one radio and was with whoever was in front pass seat. No rappeling gear just us and the fire. Back then is nothing like today but I can say how we did it compared to now is a far distance away. God bless you all and keep making us old timers proud!!! Fd j davies retired
ОтветитьA very well-earned "&%@$ YEAH!" fellas.
ОтветитьTraining is key, in all weather all conditions
ОтветитьWOW intense!!!
ОтветитьJohn Wayne kinda action right there. I was a volley in my town I never once had to wake up roll out of bed and go to a fire, I can only imagine how brutal that must be. This was an amazing story by some amazing men
ОтветитьForgive me if I missed this part, because I don't think it's mentioned. Does HR 305 carry water and hose? Is this a full out Rescue company or a Squad like engine?
ОтветитьCongratulations, you survived reality saying "Howdy". Training gave you the knowledge and reflexes that protect you from doing the deeds you do. You saved a live and managed to save yourselves into the bargain. You earned everything you get from here on out.
ОтветитьWow, this is so amazing.
All of you are true hero's.
Most of us would probably panic but by the sound of things she was so calm,
imagine if the homeowner wasnt spraying the fire with the garden hose? think he was keeping that fire just on the brink from flashing over. if that fire didnt have any cooling on it period, there was a chance the fire could have flashed when the fire fighters were in the stairwell...huge props to the homeowner as well as the firefighters for saving a life
