Okay, I like that there's a max rarity version of the starter characters. It's a frustration of mine that many gatcha setups have their main characters be low rarity and thus not worth using beyond early stages despite being fleshed out.

Honestly I am enjoying this game quite a bit more than I was expecting. I first tried it on mobile and didn't have a good experience but then I installed it on PC and it flows really well. I came for the story but ended up hooked to the game play just as much. My main complains would be that the gacha being a 50/50 pity is just plain disgusting regardless of the price of premium currency or availability through weeklies , and also that the amount of time needed to fulfill every weekly milestone seems excessive, like literally you would need to turn this game into your second job to give it enough hours to do all the missions. so far I am liking the story and find half the characters very likable (especially best girl Yao of course) the other half are archetypes I don't feel particularly strong about in either direction, but that's ok, it just means there is a little bit for everyone. lastly, congrats on the sponsorship Rex! you deserve all the deals coming your way.

I imagine a game like this would feel much better on pc than on mobile, since you have to aim.

How much high ping effects game?

I aimed for *5 fenny, then i've got another yao & yao again. After i picked up free yao from free selector. 😂

Unfortunately I had to drop it because only playing PGR takes up enough time. Snowbreak is genuinely fun, but damn with mobile controls it took me too long to do things.

Three of my main gripes is that (1) I notice the 4* and 5* variant of the same character shares a lot of voice lines, (2) the U-energy being shared by all your characters and (3) Support Skill is useless in Coop which sucks especially since a lot of characters have really powerful support skill like WH Lyfe. I still find this game very fun regardless and the gunplay feels satisfying.

This game is really a breath of a fresh air. It try to do different things and actually fun to play. But then there's always people called it "ass game" " mid game". If don't like it don't bother with it.

First expected it to be a mediocre gunslinging waifu collector gacha with crappy gameplay but it turned out to be decent. Playing it on mobile is a PITA but a totally different experience when on PC. Most of the content are fairly easy with a few more challenging ones like Jotun Tunnel or Neural Simulation, but those can also be cleared when you improved your characters and their equipment. So far, I am still able to clear most content using all purple Fenny, Acacia and Fritia, with 3-4* weapons and purple logistics

However, this game also included some of the bad things from other games, such as too many things to be grinding for. There's the character level, weapon level + modifications+ parts, logistics, neural link etc. The gacha rate is also horrible with almost every 10-pull being a purple + 9 other 3* weapons

Right now, I feel the game to be still attractive enough for me to keep playing (only played for 1.5 days so far) but won't be spending money on it yet. PGR is already taking up all my budget

The game feels a little empty and bland so far, gameplay is fun though and some of the bosses are great (I’m a fan of big bosses), but I have faith that in the future the game will get better

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really likes the Dorm! A lot of people are saying it's too white and boring, but for me it looks very clean and comfy, and it's the thing that finally tips me over to buying the monthly pass. I would love to be able to live in a place like that IRL, everything is so clean and comfy, the view is also amazing!

Its bare bones for now but I just treat it just as a casual. That and my luck is horrible.

After reading Acacia story i really like her. She is literally gamer girl from 2020s frozen in hibernation for 30 years. And making a lot of refferences that we as players understand, but ig characters don't. Then she beats other gamers in online using normal gamepad when others have neural something-something (imo because skill level lowered after these years).

I think a good way to sum up my impression would be to say that it looks like a Serious Sam tier game that tries to compete at the time when the bar for colourful multi-char shooters is set by things like Overwatch at its heyday or Apex Legends, game mode difference notwithstanding. In that sense, making the characters and the setting exaggerated or nonsensical on occasion is absolutely the right move, because for people who like the design it'd make the game sufficiently unique to let it stand on being 'fun to play in general or not' as opposed to 'more appealing than games X and Y or not'.

I have been lucky that my first pull was yao and then i got to choose fenny, then I pulled lyfe. well that goes my luck for the whole game

my only concern with this game is despite being shooter game, player's mouse input is almost raw input with no mouse smoothing or other thing like other action shooter games

Its a very fun game that brings a unique shooter gameplay to the gacha scene, but like most gacha games, the pacing gets time gated with need for levels to unlock content and material grinding behind the Presence system, so its something to make a "main game" but it is well deserving of being a side game to pick up for dailies and drop back in for future content drops. I'm hopeful that they will add more ungated time sinks to the game eventually, more interesting co-op modes or time attacks.

Started playing both, Snowbreak and PGR, wish me luck to stay with at least one of them :/

bro these kids on literally every snowbreak video complaining about its hard playing on mobile. am i the only vet of mobile shooting games e.g. COD, PUBG, APEX who have zero issue playing this on mobile with 3 finger, gyro settings? its hilarious watching these entitled noobs complaining. do you think the dev took years developing this game for mobile if its unplayable on it? literal skill issue its shamefully hilarious 😂 dev jf you're watching im so glad you made a pc version for these noobs to cope there 😂😂

Seeing Yao sleep never gets old

I'm very surprised about how fun the game is! I just downloaded the game on a whim and i did not expect how enjoyable the game is, it's kinda barebones for now but imagine what kind of crazy stuff are they planing for the future.

Playing sniper is hell for me on mobile, especially with that buggy autofire that makes you go out of the scope, its really annoying

I'm enjoying the game more than i expected, at first it feels kinda kinda slow with all those story quests but after i unlock Yao 5* it started to get more fun as i get to do more stuff easier xD. Sniping the boss from range.

Yeah I'm sticking with this for multiple reasons. I don't see gameplay going anywhere. I really don't like being called adjutant, we aren't one and using the name just reeks of "we want something unique to call the poayerbase" and rolls of the tongue like sandpaper.

The fact that the game lets us farm character duplicate shards just blow my mind. no other games does that. although it's slow but better then spending money to get duplicates
