What kind of freak mobile review did i just watch
ОтветитьBought one for my wife in 2006 and she loved it.
ОтветитьWhat a cute little car ☺️
ОтветитьI want to see one of these with a Fiesta ST swap 😈
ОтветитьI had a Ka, it was a higher spec with AC and power steering. Was fun to drive.
ОтветитьI'm 6'0 and own a 2007 brazilian Ka. It's powered by a 1.0 Zetec Rocam. there's an alternative version which sports the 1.6 Zetec Rocam engine. It's a pretty popular project car in Brazil. I still love how mine looks, it's a car with personality, and doesn't blend with the traffic.
I love this little ladybug just too much.
For people that might not remember: the Ka is playable from Gran Turismo 2 to 6 xD
the video chapters 😭
ОтветитьI love how Ford was like "hey so we're making a car for the Brits, what should we name it?" And they came up with "Ka" which is just how the British pronounce car anyways. It's the Ford car. Funny.
ОтветитьHe drove a grape and loved it
ОтветитьI only know about this car because of the SportKa ads. I'd buy one if they were in the US
ОтветитьLooks great with the bigger Fox Body wheels. Would be amusing to do an engine swap to an Ecoboost 3 cylinder.
ОтветитьFYI turn signals (or 'indicators') being on the left in British market cars is basically because they cucked to Europe right around the time their domestic manufacturers collapsed in market share. They used to be on the right side, but European and British manufacturers alike wanted to save small change by sharing the stalk arrangement with the continent (the larger market). Fortunately Japan didn't feel like doing a similar compromise for its market, so Japanese makes give the markets what they want. The British market got normalised to having the indicator on the wrong side, but various other right hand drive countries like Australia and New Zealand preferred to keep the indicators on the 'right' side. It doesn't really matter so much these days since almost all new cars are not manual transmission, so the left hand remains free.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite cars. Adore seeing them every day.
ОтветитьAs the owner of an automatic 4 cylinder S10, you just have to drive it at an extra medium pace. 3500rpm is your sweet spot and after that is for interstate hill climbs. A 4l60e sucks the life out of a 2.2. Gas mileage in town with the AC running makes a 2WD Silverado with a 5.3 appealing. Highway mileage is equal to 5.3 but the 2.2 makes 1/3 the power and 5 times the noise. Economy is achievable unladen on relatively flat ground.
ОтветитьWhat an idiot. You could import a Ka from Mexico with the wheel on the right side.
Ответитьforza 4 had this for some reason this thing brings back awesome memories for such a cheap tiny car
ОтветитьThis video reminded me of the Ford Puma from 97
ОтветитьRollerskate deathtrap, ill get the bus
ОтветитьWe got the Ka in México
Ответитьholy he really doesn't hide it anymore this is fucking amazing
ОтветитьAbsolutely love Kas, had one and would have another again if rust wasnt rampant.
Ответитьif you love this then somehow get your hands on a Renault Twingo
ОтветитьQuebecois vote Oui on Ka.
ОтветитьLike my toyota yaris.
ОтветитьCan't forget the commercials.
Search Ford KA cat.
I own the 1.6l latin american version of the ka (the XR) to me it's The Perfect Car
ОтветитьFun fact, the Ford Ka was also sold on the continent where we drive on normal side of the road. but nope, instead of getting one of those, the goofy owner had to buy a british one with the steering wheel on the wrong side. I guess the car was just too practical for the US so owner needed to nerf it somehow. Well, props to that.
ОтветитьSay the name twice with a brooklyn accent and its kei car. Kā kă (edit, i know its technically pronounced like key)
ОтветитьLooks like a plastic bubble Ford Pinto from the back
ОтветитьHad these in argentina and they were great
Ответить"no power steering, it doesn't really need it" - so many new small cars would be better without it, have been for ages
ОтветитьWhat's funny is that those are stil rolling here on Latin America, I think they were built on Brazil a friend of my father had one on purple lol, it was quite a funny little car.
ОтветитьI am reading "this".
ОтветитьThese are pretty prevalent south of the border too.
ОтветитьOnce at EVERY corner, now almost completely gone extinct.
ОтветитьI had 2 Mk4 fiestas (which this is a shortened platform of) with the same engine and poverty spec. Fun little cars! The Torque down low is pretty good for such an ancient wheezy little engine. My last Fiesta died when the clutch catastrophically exploded and leaked clutch fluid into the gearbox and it wasn't worth repairing. I got a EV1 Civic after (5 door version of the EP3, has the 2 litre lump, you guys over the pond call in the Si while in the UK it was sold as the Type-S)
ОтветитьSo rare to see a Ka that's not disintegrating into rust
ОтветитьWOW!😂Great car,you don’t see them anymore in Germany!
Thanx❤️🔥
It's so ugly, I want it
ОтветитьBut oh no we couldn't get a nice small fuel-efficient hatchback in the US
ОтветитьAlso: It's a shame those Ford Ka's rust so hard, because they punch well above their class in terms of handling. These Ka's are some good handling cars
ОтветитьAm i the only one who misses the intro music? You know the little tunes Roman made about the car. lol.
ОтветитьThought these were ridiculously ugly when they first came out, but it's grown on me. They particularly look better with painted bumpers (I think that was the 'facelifted' version?) instead of these huge matte plastic monstrosities.
ОтветитьYeah in the UK we measure road distances in miles and speed in miles per hour, yet gas is sold at the pumps in litres and has been for years. I don’t understand either.
ОтветитьYou're paying 2 dollars a gallon? I pay £1.39 a litre 😢
ОтветитьI used to have one of these and now your review is making want to go out and get another one.
ОтветитьIt's not that English, Fors Europe is German
