Something that has been happening in recent days not only at my company but other companies. You reached a career progression only for the company to let you go. Find someone who will do more work for less pay. They have been eliminating roles and rope as many responsibilities they can for less into a position that offers significantly less and reducing the growth in the company.

This was a ridiculous decision. Mac Address and TechQuickie could both likely make enough revenue stream to pay for their respective writers. I think that not uploading for awhile is just going to further decrease revenue stream!

Wow the channel growth being glossed over so heavily is wild. My favorite part of WAN show is the behind the curtain view of the company but if they arent even willing to say "the channels weren't profitable enough to meet LTT standards" then what even is the point? Its just fake transparency at this point.

working for achievement is so stupid. working is the hunt and gathering of old days. your work may feel stupid and dull but it needs to be done because there is a ask for it. not everyone gets to be the manager or boss. we need workers to. if everybody works for the same company for 30 years. how many people would be the boss after 30 years if everybody gets promoted. that isnt how it works. people demanding that work should pay better or give your more of anything are the backbone why everything is so expensive. guys what if you demand more money the product of your ork costs more so somebody needs to pay more. their services will go up and so it is a cycle where everybody gets to pay more and then demand more pay. the high inflation we had should not have been deld with giving everybody more money. no we needed a crash. sure people would suffer but it would have been better. people would aprreciate work more and try harder. these days people arent interested in work well guess wwhat it is how you get to live and how you gonna live it. you want it easy live in less go work hard live in more. and please stop yapping about 40 hours of work is to much. humans used to work 24 hours a day to keep living. thats how we get to be here. we in the west dont have it bad. we get our 8 hours of work a day 8 hours of sleep and 8 hour to spend or traveling people relaxing family food ect ect. and stop demanding that you are so social that is wwhere the pressure comes from wanting to do to much in your free time. thats how you get in a state i dont have enough me time. it is nice to meet up with friends but stop demanding you see them each week for a cup of coffee. friendship doesnt expire like milk. and there isnt a quota on how many you need to have. society doesnt control you life. get back in control. everybody is blaming work but is isnt the main problem. people feel that there is demanded more of them. have a house own a car have 20 friends have 2 best friends hang every weekend with the friends. look good. see all the movies and series. people dont control that you should control that. dont want a alcholic drink when going out then dont dont wanna see that show then dont. want to go fishing then go. have a dumb hobby that nobody understands go for it.

I worked for a third party that handles PSN support and certain accounts like GOD and short lettered accounts can be escalated and locked down so only certain security level employees can make any changes to them. There are standards and protocols on how these accounts are compromised.

It pisses me off every time Linus praises Facebook Marketplace. IT'S SHIT Like It will show me stuff from hundreds of miles away when I requst things within a 50 mile radius. Yah sure you can lie about where you are located on Craigslist, but AT LEAST IT KNOWS HOW FAR THAT IS FROM ME.

I've litterally JUST had worse experiences on Marketplace, more stolen goods, categories that just don't exist between diffrent devices. TONS of people who accidentally set it up to be for delivery that when you reach out to them about getting an item delivered are just incredibly confused.

For the Intel/AMD proposed merger - I think the examples of previous mergers are not that relevant - when Lockeed and Martin for example merged, there were multiple large plane manufacturers (that left IIRC McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and the new Lockheed Martin, which eventually left the civil aviation market and focused on military); same for the banks. Now, looking at the X86 market? There's only two real players and most governments would not approve the merger to save them.

Intels is still a massive company that does a ton of business so it bothers me when people act like it's falling apart. Yeah, it may be some small percentage slower than AMD in gaming performance for about a decade. Their processors and SOCs are still good. They're the 2nd best FAB. Their GPUs also might end up going somewhere but we need a 2nd generation to know for sure.
