after seeing other comments it should be known, liberty is hours after terminus takes place, and as of right now our characters are stuck in the dark aether, the new map will either be us needing to break free from the aether, or be yet another time jump backwards to before terminus happens

the beamsmasher is very good, you're just using it wrong. Tap right click to slow and debuff zombies, and every weapon including the left click will do a ton more damage. Basically the cycle is "apply debuff with right click/secondary fire", then left click/main fire when they are debuffed. They are debuffed when the yellow (or red if PaP) is emanating from the zombies' heads and they are slowed.
