So the 2nd gen version (this is the 3rd) you could put it in 5th gear bring the rpm's up to 1200 and pop the clutch and you will accelerate pretty quickly.

I've got the GT and man I love this bike. Eventually I'll unrestrict it and get a nice exhaust.

imho and for my money do NOT get the Werkes pipes. one of the bikes i looked at had them. they are loud. too loud imho. as if you need to draw even more attention to this bike by getting these pipes. stock pipes are very nice, consistent with the rest of the attitude/style of the bike. Loud enough, nice rumble, but not obnoxious. The Werkes pipes put the bike into the trying to compensate for something / i have no taste category. again, imho and to each his/her own, but they are a step backwards, not an improvement. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

i love mine. just sayin'. if i could only one have one bike, it would be this one. i love my ktm, i like my bmw, my yamaha is fun, but this bike is all to itself. nothing like it.
first time i pegged it, i got pushed back so hard i could not let off the throttle. fortunately there is a governor that kicked, and saved my cookies.

After watching your video, I’m selling my 2019 Harley Davidson Heritage with stage 3 kit and buying a triumph of rocket R GT🏆 pure performance👍 I spent way too much money on a scream, stage three kit with the Maxwell cam which does pretty well, but not for the money I spent😪 awesome videos. They hit the nail right on the proverbial with this one. Not only did Triumph totally revamp what was, face it, a pretty ugly monstrosity, they turned it into what is I believe to be the sickest looking bike on the market.

I ride a cbr 1000 my friend has the rocket 3 and when I pull out to pass he passes me too the bike has a bigger engine than my first car

If I was 10 years younger I'd buy a Rocket lll R. I rode the older Rocket lll Roadster in 2010 for an afternoon which was 40 kg heavier and it was a breeze to ride.

I am an 80 something bike rider since the late 1950s. I would buy one of those in a hot minute if there were any roads in existence where I could really put if through it's paces and enjoy the power. In Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Montana there are interstates where the speed limts are 80mph. Even on those I'd have to hold back on the throttle. Sure it's a fine bike but it really makes no sense at all. Sorry to say it but that's my opinion based on many decades of experience. Last thought. We have to share the roads with slow pokes.... and cops who are a great pain in the ass.

I love my 23R3GT. For my physique (5.4 140lbs) I should and I am treating her with a lot of respect. I have no plans to prove my skills to anyone and I ride way below my skill level. I love it 😍
