speakers are not IN the headrest... but mounted in the B pillar right next to the ear/head. Your "strong words with MB" comment is without base and you clearly did not prepare well to do this review.

I just traded my 2021 E-Class Coupe for this. It was delivered last week, and in person, it looks amazing. Other than the B-pillar, everything else feels like an upgrade. I also don’t mind the interior design now that I've gotten used to it. It's used in most of their models, and I feel like it's more modern than the E-Class Coupe and much better than the hyper/super screen.

Great review but don't dig the shark look at all. Prefer the previous pointy slanted headlight as opposed to shark eyes

I saw one today and they wanted 76k and i just did not feel it was worth it.

Its to much plastic in those new mercedes. The interiour of e couple looks more simple and quality!

One point of the fake exhaust holes is that the actual exhaust plumbing is protected if the bumper gets bashed in a low speed fender bender.

edit: lmao.. the grill is a load of their logo! that actually looks fine though as its a pattern. Just kinda funny that theres even more than what I thought

Amazing design! Most of the mercedes refreshes as of late have left a lot to be desired. I'm glad they tried something a little more daring!

How does this compare to the 2021 c43 amg?

There are actually speakers in the seat. Took me forever to find them. Turns out, they're not in the headrest but instead at the top of the seat on each side behind the headrest. Mercedes should be more clear on their location.

The 48v mild hybrid is a no go for me. Battery needs replacing sfter 6-8 years and not covered under extended warranties.

Nice video, Rory, covered most things, but what about the noise level? Sleek, stylish and subtle, but is it quiet? I get a lot of road noise in my E coupe, which pees me off, compared to my daughter in her Audi Q5 which glides along like in a cloud

Beautiful car! Weirdly it doesn’t look very new, looks almost the same as the previous C class coupe from the outside and it doesn’t have the design of a 2024 car. It’s a very conservative but beautiful design

having fake exhaust in an inline six coupe for $100k, i couldn't bring myself to do it

Not sure where he gets the idea a hot hatch would be quicker. Very little below an RS3 or Type-R would keep up with this.
