Cool vid man
ОтветитьBeautiful video!!! Had me laughing from the start!! That pause after “left me” and the advice on the hogs-OMG too funny! Florida Trail and hogs, gators, snakes, along with all our other critters, all your other trail critters on all your other hikes, cowboy camping-pretty sure you’re experienced....and then you just casually mention at the end about the scorpion...🦂😬🤦♀️🤷♀️. Hope it feels better! Amazing camera work! Loving it! Safe hiking!!!
ОтветитьJust did a fill-in from Miller Peak to Patagonia that was aborted due to 12 inches of snowfall last year. We have pics of original border terminus in snow. I see an obelisk where you started. Where is that? I didn’t see that on drive up to Montezuma. Trail Angel said you can only head south about 3/4 mile before everything is blocked. Since I was working with limited water (mid May) I opted to tackle that climb right away. Did you walk down toward original terminus to see what they did?
ОтветитьGreat vid! Thanks.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching this video. You captured the start of the trail fantastic. I really enjoyed your editing and the awesome transitions as well. 😀
ОтветитьLot of open spaces. I never followed anybody on a Thur hike in the AZT. Interested in seeing what it looks like. Congrats on your 100 miles👍👍
ОтветитьWhat type of shoes are you hiking in? Also love the videos
ОтветитьI would like to do sobo in September from Flaggstaff to tucson suggestions for cookstove etc....
ОтветитьGood work mate....will be in Arizona in November so might have a look at the trail...cheers
ОтветитьGreat video! Excited to see the rest of it.
ОтветитьGreat way to see and experience the desert. No doubt about it!
ОтветитьI love your videos. That's all.
ОтветитьWhen did you start your hike?
I'm going to start my thru hike next week.
Have to pack a little more since it will be a little colder.
Did you come across any mountain lions or bears?
ОтветитьMontezuma Pass and Parker Canyon Lake are my old stomping grounds from when I was a teen. I did a lot of volunteer trail maintenance and some cave tours in the Park. Fun video and thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьIs that a grinder I spy👀 in your back pack shoulder strap and a lighter with some "other" good stuff in town
ОтветитьLove your videos! I find them inspiring and very relaxing as well. Thank you :-)
ОтветитьYou know, you should write a book.
ОтветитьMind if I ask you your start day? Thinking about a later start date, but some folks have said it’s a bad idea.
ОтветитьJupiter: “So, my girlfriend has just left me..
Me: See ya! I’ve got a hike to…
Jupiter: ..at the trailhead.”
(Doh!)
Awesome jupe. I wonder if it’s common to hike 6-10am, pause for heat, then go again 6-10pm. Two a days, like football practice before school starts in August.
ОтветитьI have emailed you about this video however it might have gone to spam. Please check it out for me. Thanks.

ОтветитьHow did you train for this hike?
ОтветитьWould you recommend this trail as the first trail for a new thru hiker?
ОтветитьSorry about that scorpion sting a natural remedy to take poison out immediately is wood charcoal powder moistened with water. Its readily available in any campfire. Its used in treating people that have overdosed in medication because you can eat the charcoal.
ОтветитьGreat video. What time of year did you do this, would you do it the same time of year again? Im planning on doing this myself. Thnks.
Ответить😊
ОтветитьGreat videos.
We are doing a section hike in late May. 7 days. Can you recommend a passage / section we HAVE to do?
Northern part of the trail?
Thank you.
I see all these videos about earning the trail legs and, idk, sometimes it gets a bit discouraging. Older and overweight, I "train" with my dog in the Huachucas on my days off from work. Last year, it was all casual hiking, but this year my goal is to make it to one of the peaks, which would be at least 10 miles roundtrip. The best I've been able to do so far this year is a 6.8 mile hike but there was 1000 foot climb in 3/4 of a mile. I know my condition will improve, but then I see the first section of the AZT is 20 miles and includes these huge climbs and it just doesn't seem feasible. Any tips would be appreciated.
ОтветитьWhat months did you do the hike? It looked like spring, with the flowers, but there appeared to be fall foliage on the trees.
ОтветитьI can't believe people drink beer and then hike!!😳 I'd be done for the day 🥴
ОтветитьYour video editing is top notch, and those views were absolutely spectacular! 🔥 Well done
ОтветитьUr crazy bro
ОтветитьWild bore or javelina? Havent really heard of feral pigs in Az like in texas
ОтветитьId be dead after 1 day 💀
ОтветитьI walked 16 miles once my feet were $&@* for over a week
ОтветитьThe map 😆
ОтветитьThe map is just a picture of Az lol
ОтветитьNature walks mean rustling of trees, winds, birds, babbling brooks, crunching NOT music
Ответитьthanks for the details (like the yellow bag)
ОтветитьThis channel is my happy place thank you
ОтветитьQuestion, no trekking poles to take the weight off your legs and propel you a bit faster?
ОтветитьGreat series. 2nd time watching
ОтветитьI've a problem. I think I like all your vids...
ОтветитьJust discovered your channel and I'm hooked!
ОтветитьWhat date did you leave the Southern Terminus? Presumably, early Spring before the rattlers wake up from hibernation? Great video series BTW. Totally chill.
ОтветитьI had some guys try to give me a six pack on the trail last year. Ended up drinking two with them and carrying two more. It was nice to have beer the next day.
