we are now a selling club. officially a small mid table team used to doll out profits to the stockholders. we aspire to be brighton.
ОтветитьWatch us go buy another young striker like idiots
ОтветитьJust a comment to show appreciation, James.
I'm sure you're aware that you could garner an audience that's an order of magnitude larger by regurgitating the sensationalist drivel that gets the United fanbase riled up on a daily basis.
Although we're a quiet minority, I'm sure there are plenty of people like me out here who are thankful for a calmer, patient, and logical voice.
To extend your metaphor further, our scouting network was meaty and girthy, but we were never hitting the right spot, poking around everywhere else instead
ОтветитьI'm looking forward to the summer window, see who leaves, and see who we recruit, wouldn't be surprised if Vittel brings in a couple of players currently not linked, under the radar.
ОтветитьSo Manchester United are copying Chelsea and Clearlake? Sounds horrible and just a huge guessing game!!!
ОтветитьVivell was at Hoffenheim. IE, where Rangnick was manager, director. Then the RB group.
ОтветитьThe way Ineos have changed our recruitment strategy it seems like we're targeting younger players rather than these big name players that'll command ridiculous wages. Don't be surprised if we see players like Nene Dorgles, Dibling, Quenda, Gomes, David, Rigg, Nypan, Delap, Samu Aghehowa etc
ОтветитьAre we still planning on having players play the piano on the Old Trafford centre spot? 😬😀
Looking forward to see what we do this sunmer, more deadwood to be moved on with fresh hungry talent coming in!! Old Trafford needs young energetic players to bring enery and buzz back to the stadium as a whole!
If only Ralf Ragnick had a window where he could lead recruitment 😭
ОтветитьThis is the way..
ОтветитьThanks for the presentation. Comforting to know that we have a competent structure; let's hope the execution is competent as well. At least there are reasons to be optimistic.
ОтветитьAll this is good of course. Simple. My only question would be the 3-4-3 system. I think a lot of us underestimated how poorly the current squad fit into it. So that means in the future recruitment, we will look to fit it with our signings. Ideally you get wingbacks who could easily transition into a winger or fullback if Ruben left the club. But the world isn’t always ideal. I’d love to hear their discussions addressing this
ОтветитьGreat video James! I think the Wilcox-Vivell factor will be a huge change moving forward. We just have to be patient and let everything marinade then cook.
ОтветитьI can't believe I watch a 40 minute power point for entertainment. fuck me Im boring!
ОтветитьIf we come out of the summer with a fully functioning team that is capable of playing a full Premier League season, then it will have been a success. We havent had a functional squad in what seems like forever. We can build from there then going forward .
ОтветитьWhat do you have against deligt?I am sorry to ask?
Buy yoro and ugate and two more young defenders?Thats crazy.
I believe you dont like him at all.He is already in manutd so support him.
What club has won in the modern era with youth signings? Brighton's success is not winning anything but good at dealing players . Liverpool have world class players , same as City , Arsenal, and Chelsea, and Newcastle are very strong, No team featuring multiple youth players bought on potential are beating these teams. So mediocrity and mid table are the accountants aim.
ОтветитьI love these presentations, it's like school but interesting
ОтветитьWith this level of stupidity and delusion in our recruitment, we're going to be bottom half of the Premier League for another 5 years, if we're lucky.
ОтветитьThis was great.. thanks James
ОтветитьI think de ligt was bought mainly as a Maguire replacement rather than an alternative to Branthwaite.
ОтветитьVery insightful. I understand the reasoning for the recruitment strategy but we are lacking in quality in so many positions. At least 4 proven (and costly) players are required at GK, CB, LAM, CF. Also require a RWB that won’t be cheap. If we buy lesser players we will just have a lesser team that will struggle to get in the Top 8 and European places never mind being title contenders. Should be an interesting Summer!
ОтветитьIf we don’t get a experience striker this summer and go for delap or some other younger striker we gonna be in big big trouble next season
ОтветитьNot the point of this video but I've watched a few compilation videos of Dorgeles and I don't see it. These are compiled clips of his best moments and he looks like his technique is all over the place.
ОтветитьAnother great informative video. Thanks
ОтветитьNot my understanding the scouts regularly recommended buying people Ragnick also recommended but theBoard wouldn’t follow up.
ОтветитьWould love to see Wilcox’s assessment report from summer.
ОтветитьThis is well details analysis ❤ I enjoyed the video,, it like am in a classroom 😊😊
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this vid, brilliant, very informative, gives me hope the future could be bright. Could you do one on Omar / brailsford(his role at United)?
ОтветитьWilcox spent 80m on his former employee's players, almost every one of which has contributed beyond nothing to Southampton, and none of that money went on Rogers, Palmer or Delap. Is he corrupt, in buying dross for a PSR write-off, or was he so incompetent he let the obvious talent go to Hull and go to Middleborough? Rogers for 1.5m. Wilcox is not qualified and has zero track record to be in charge of our recruitment.
Ответитьin the end of the day since ineos and the "best in class" came in the club has turned into a full scale disaster. there has been zero improvement. just a demise from 8th to relegation fodder with a goal difference of -6.
Ответитьits ok to buy youths, but this season shown united cant rely on them fully. hojlund garnacho mainoo yoro even dorgu needs time. united need a world class goalscorer like osimhen. a solid spine to the team. bruno at midfield, maguire in defence. other positions united can fill them with younger/energetic players to complement the spine
ОтветитьJames, I hear you on the recruitment plan and I largely agree with the direction. But striker is the one position we should not (cannot?) compromise. We need to buy ourselves 20 prem goals - every other top 5 contending team has a player like Haaland, Salah, Palmer, Isak, even Watkins although not as strong as the other names.
ОтветитьNice presentation! Very clear! I really liked it!
ОтветитьWilcox was head of youth development. He’s not qualified for DOF at united.
ОтветитьGet rid of onana
ОтветитьPowerpoint meeting today XD
ОтветитьJames..u are diamond..just one thing..do a show with rants..that would be a show with two contrary views..I think people would like that..i hope he warms up to amorin after that..
ОтветитьLittle bit of a long read ahead
I don’t understand. Why would someone like Osimhen join if he sees us signing other players like Hackney and Dorgeles to back him up? Players aren’t stupid, quality wants to be surrounded by quality. I’m not against signing young players but we should be buying established players ready to take the next step at a big club. A club like Manchester United should only be buying the best young talent in the world like Quenda and the rest of the money going to the former. We should not aspire to follow the strategy of a selling club like Brighton. James spoke about players like Macallister and Caicedo but they get the luxury of improving at a club with no pressure whereas they unfortunately wouldn’t get the same luxury at United.
Great video. Enjoying the content
ОтветитьListening to this is the united fans version of 50 shades of grey
ОтветитьNice to see a break down and analysis rather than kicking and screaming about glazers and ineos
ОтветитьOne of your best videos this pal.
ОтветитьThis guy could have saved Utd 1 billion pounds 10 years ago if they made him DOF
ОтветитьIf Osimhen is a real target then we’re finished as a club. He is a horrific footballer and this team already lacks technical players.
ОтветитьLove the deep dive analysis! Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьBad scouts isn’t the case we had the best scouts in Europe, the club just continuously ignored them.
Ответить
