Pretty funny coming back to these old videos after knowing that Punk Rock MBA was just a gimmick lolz. You suck, Finn.
ОтветитьAll the women who read and listen to real-life murder stories are the reason
ОтветитьI got lucky because I’m constantly searching new bands just randomly and I found the greatest story ever told like the original version and fell in love instantly and been a huge fan and have listened to every album and if you haven’t I would suggest seeing them live they are absolutely amazing
ОтветитьI caught INK last night at the Metallica concert. I finally “got it” watching the production. It’s a wild ride and I think no one knows the definition of endless perseverance quite like them. It was rad and my teenage daughter enjoyed it too. Couldn’t stop watching.
ОтветитьHearing they got big in 2018 is CRAZY to me! I was obsessed with the first album “The Greatest Story Ever Told” was on (I can’t remember because they re-did the song like 3 times from 3 different albums/eps)
ОтветитьI want to know why they have had so many members come and go and why Spencer is the only remaining founder
ОтветитьI'm obsessed with the song "Grave Mistake" it's so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьMy Oh MY, some friends of mine, played at a local venue in Dixon, IL with these guys, Ice Nine Kills, back in 2011. Safe is Just a Shadow was my first experience with them. I even got on stage and screamed during one of the sets.
ОтветитьThis is one of my most favourite video from! Thank you so much! :)
ОтветитьI've only just discovered these guys but wow I'm fucking blown away. The change ups in these songs is crazy rad.
ОтветитьRed Sky Warning still fucking slaps
ОтветитьWe miss you Finn. Sorry about all the haters bro! People suck
ОтветитьI mean.. their music is good too... the horror gimmick is just icing on the cake.
ОтветитьBro started in medias res
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure if the world's best bands weren't recognized Fin would call them shit because he more clout chases popular bands than just listen to the music to see if it sounds good
Ответитьliked their sound from the beginning. there is no gimmick, it's about the music- not profit or sucess.
ОтветитьThey're trying too hard and it's a bit cringy also the terrifier films especially 3 are boring 😴
ОтветитьNot very often that I find a band that I want to see live, but I’ve listened to a few covers years ago, and have slowly been building my library with INK songs, and after listening to The Silver Scream & Welcome To Horrorwood, I bought my ticket and VIP for a show. Can’t wait to see them. They will be the 4th band I’ve ever gone to see LIVE. I don’t just go to any concert. But this band has earned it 1000x over
ОтветитьMe, I’m a Metalhead drafted ‘first overall’ in 1984.
At 56 , nowadays I don’t get out much. These guys is opening for Metallica and I’m here to know who I’m seeing.
Metalcore is intense AF. Educate me!
They ignored their best target of horror
ОтветитьThis is rich with the MBA Punk admitting his whole channel is a gimmick and he only did it for the $$
ОтветитьEvery Trick was insane. When I first heard it in a warped tour compilation. So glad they got the success they deserve with TSS onward.
ОтветитьAnd there’s rumors that INK might be nominated for an academy award for their song A Work Of Art. If that’s true. What a journey for a deserving band.
ОтветитьThe Art of Dying has me hooked! The video is outstanding!
ОтветитьThe fact that now, they’ve even collaborated with a horror movie itself with their last single, it just shows how well respected they are in the horror scene, and them putting absolutely everything into their videos is the big thing for this imo, I don’t think anyone will deny that their videos are amazing, making a genuine coherent story of their own based around the movies they’re on about, while also having amazing music, it just shows how authentic and passionate they really are about their craft, they just get better and better, and I’m just happy for them
For me, I’m a metalcore and found them through that, but honestly I enjoy their videos and the movie they’re making with them so much that it’s got me more into horror, and this definitely works the other way round as well, they’re just an extremely unique and authentic band who you can tell truly cares about what they’re doing
They're not my fav personally but they are exceptional musicians and businessmen so respect ✊
ОтветитьMcFenty
ОтветитьI feel like their success came from cracking the musical emo/scene kid/myspace generation code. They perfected the type of music that every mid/late 2000’s sub-MCR in that genre was trying to do, then doubled down the spooky kid/horror element and the combination of all this really brought out something in anyone who ever wore black skinny jeans and fingerless Jack Skellington gloves to school. And it’s apparent that they take their work way more seriously than any of the numerous Escape The Fate copies ever did.
ОтветитьAlso getting the actor who played art for their music video collab for terrifyer A Work Of Art
ОтветитьEvey trick in book is my favourite album of theres. It's the album that introduced them to me. Love the Silver Scream and subsequent albums but that first album based on books reallly cemented my love for them. Probably helps thts inused to listen to that album on repeat when id take the bus to see my wife when we where dating. Love them. We even read some of the books from the album together.
ОтветитьNo one mentions that their guitar player @rickyarmellino, is a genius as well. (Ex this or the apocalypse and lead singer for HAWK) He is an insane producer as well. Bunch of very talented guys
ОтветитьWoe is me and Of Mice and men also were both started by dudes who had mildly popular bands before they started.
ОтветитьThey suck
ОтветитьSame thing silly goose does they follow around the dwp festival circuit and play the parking lot and have a late post festival show at a local venue . And I respect their grind for it
ОтветитьI've heard of them and all but never gave a song a shot until I heard they hooked up with the Terrifier crew for the 3rd film and figured I'd see what they were about lol
Ответитьand now theyre opening for Metallica
Ответитьi had heard of this band, just kinda passed them off as another scene band, till i listened to Communion of The Cursed, and was like, hold up, that was heavy af. than of course the Silver Screen came out, as a horror fan, i was hooked. started seeing that Spence is an absolute sweetheart, and just a big fan of the horror/metal world. now my boy Patrick from Affiance is playing drums with them.
i always related horror as the metal of movies, and just felt that they went hand in hand, and seeing the 2 combined in one umbrella, and the conventions that Spencer puts on, it's great.
Every Trick In the Book is the album that got me into INK. Now, they are one of my favorite bands.
ОтветитьI like them & they did work hard! I'm old school, but I don't hate new blood 🤘
ОтветитьThey suck imo
ОтветитьI know them now because someone recommended Big Reel Fish to me and they collab 😅 I checked them out because of the vocals. Their band being about horror movies is just a plus for me because I happen to love horror movies - I only knew about it later on after getting hooked on 1 song they collab with Big Reel Fish.
ОтветитьActually go into the HISTORY dude this a bullshit skimming over the ACTUALLY HISTORY. Going to talk about how you have to have a XI tattoo to be in the band 😂
ОтветитьI remember seeing INK on a smaller stage at warped tour. What a progression.
ОтветитьThis was a fantastic and informative commentary of INK. I appreciate all your hard research that you gathered. I got into them in 2022 because my sons and I just finished binge watching a show and I needed something else to watch. My oldest told me about these guys and their Silver Scream videos. So I gave it a shot and was hooked! Shortly thereafter we find out about their convention in town and scored tickets to one day. I was IMPRESSED. I was like how good can it be? Eh. Let’s go. It wasn’t good at all. IT WAS EFFING AMAZING!!!! Their third Silver Scream Con is happening in a couple weeks and my son and I have met great people through their app. I’m truly happy for them.
ОтветитьHilariously enough I had almost never heard of these guys, or so I thought. I did hear their name now and again back around the early 2010's when many family members & friends were connecting to them and the bad stereotype of "I slit my wrist" type of emo/punk music. I was borderline traumatized by these bands vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics way back then lmao.
But now here I am nearly 15 years later banging my head to the likes of IWaBO, INK, Paramore, OiS, Ghostmane, Spiritbox, & Bad Omens! From wanting absolutely nothing to do with metal to loving the absolute shit out of it! And what got me into it? Linkin Park & Breaking Benjamin two of the most iconic names in the metalhead starter kit!
And if it wasn't for tiktok I wouldn't have found names like Bad Omens, OiS and yes even INK who I discovered watching a very attractive plus sized emo girl just going absolutely fucking in on Welcome To Horrorwood. Because of that I did some digging and fell in love with their music! I even bought a Every Trick In The Book album off of EBay recently and I'm hopefully expecting it soon. I'm glad to be a metalhead now because a lot of the people in the community are some of the sweetest people despite looking absolutely terrifying lmfao. Here's hoping I can save up enough one day to attend a big metal concert so i can get my first Mosh Pit experience. 🤘🏼
They should be headlining....they kicked In this Moments ass in Bismarck...Just Sayin!
ОтветитьGot to see them at Warped Tour in 2015. They were sooooo good live. I had been listening to their stuff since about 2012. Finding out today that I missed their ska phase somehow is wild though lol I guess it gives me something new of theirs to dive into.
