Can they LEGALLY say this?? - Sony WH-1000XM6

The best headphones in the market got even better. These things are my go to. Amazing.

No point to upgrade from xm4's that i paid 167£ 4 years ago. Even if i didn't owned XM4's i will never paid such amount of money for headphones.

I have the xm3 and xm5 and my biggest complaint with the 5 was the horrible headband it's so uncomfortable to wear, really sad to see Sony doubled down on the design. I wish they made the xm4 design with the xm6 ANC

Once these could seamlessly connect to Apple products like the Air Pods Max, I WILL BE SWITCHING BACK TO SONYS

Doesn anyone benefit from those lab tests. Shows bunch of graphs most people doesn't understand. Doesn't rate them out of 10, doesn't compare how good they are with other headphones. What i am suppose to get from those reports

I have both the 5 and the 6 and I guarantee anyone looking this , buy the 5 , for what the 6 have , they're not worth the extra price , this guy is a bit overselling them, except the mic that no one will notice it , the rest is 99% the same

XM6 fold?! Okay, XM5 is universally hated, but man, just this one detail makes them as "interesting".

I had the XM4's and I admit these look nice, but I never could get the Sony's to produce good highs and lows. They always were very flat and muted sounding. I bought the WF1000XM5 earbuds a few months ago and I found the same issue with them and returned them promptly. The Bose sound profile just sounds more natural and has better reproduction without having to blast them.

One thing I would like to know is if they fixed the left ear squealling that happens while flying sometimes. Both my xm4 and xm3 did this and read that the xm5 also did this, which was a deal breaker for me.

If ANC is your main concern, it's really tough to beat the XM's. Bose and Apple are the only close competitors.
I get the point regarding studio monitors being fatiguing for a movie, but I'd still prefer even something basic like my wired 770pro's over my xm4 or 5's, for audio quality, let alone the fact that these 6's are like 3x the price.

I am not really interested in music and ANC, I feel like every tier 1 headphone handles that at an elite level.. what I was after was the 2 things they actually omitted - microphone quality for phone and sound leakage out of the earcups

fyi, Sony customer service is abysmal, might be worth a mention from quite some experiences in the past.

Ripoff, I paid $180 for a refurb of the XM5s, they have been phenomenal. $450 is criminal.

The real, and only question, is how the ANC on these works with an audio signal for music going through. Any ANC harms the audio being listened to at the same time, so how these handle audio is key - as it is for any ANC headphone- making ultimate ANC would destroy any hopes of decent audio… so marketing ANC as a single feature might sound fancy, but is irrelevant

I have xm3 and xm5, honestly I don't see much improvement on noise cancellation. I don't have a reason to buy xm6

My Monster Elements have been warn out for years, I am so happy that someone has finally made some decent headphones and not another airpod copy.

Glad to see ANC is still improving well, might be time to upgrade from my old bose qc35

I have the sony wf-1000xm5 buds and the noise cancelling is already pretty incredible, so expecting this to be mind blowing. How are these with glasses? usually a big issue.

Are they skull squeezers? How is the pad drop/extension? I wear a 7 7/8" hat and 90% of headphones are no go. Also, it would be nice to see a head to head against the ore affordable Sony WH-1000XM4

Still rocking the XM4's, cant justify upgrading when its $700 here in Australia. I can almost get a low end GPU for that!
