Really good information ❤
ОтветитьAlso, doesn't the film look Luts need need an output gamma for Cineon Film Log? So shouldn't there be a CST from Rec709 to Cineon Film Log?
ОтветитьWhy not just use color grading ,contrast, saturation etc on the same node? Might be stupid question but im stupid so 😂
Ответитьbro, I had to subscribe holy crap I’ve been looking for this type of tutorial for so long. Literally never saw anyone go into input rec 2020. I figured that out like two weeks ago on my own and it was messing everything up for me.
I want to produce short films on my iPhone just due to lack of budget right now and I really need to focus on like a print cine 16
Will you be doing any videos like for a movie type of short film like Vintage look for iPhones soon ? I’m like really interested in seeing what you create
Amazing, these are very valuable information mate. Thank you!
Ответитьthis one was IT! thank you!
ОтветитьEXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank you so much! 🔥👍
ОтветитьWas this video helpful? Let me know what you think of the new Apple Log format!
ОтветитьThanks so so so much for not using a method that requires us to purchase a pack that you have made!
ОтветитьThank you for this! Been watching other tutorials about the color space of Apple log and they ALWAYS start by selling their powergrade LUTs.
ОтветитьUseful video👍 i want to know what settings do you use in blackmagic app.
ОтветитьI like this video the best out all the tutorials I've seen because you explain every little thing and go step by step. Thank you so much. New sub. Any chance you can do a tutorial on color grading and editing for d-log taken from DJI pocket 3? No worries if no.
Ответитьthanks 😍😍
ОтветитьWow, that was excellent!...and right to the point with easily understandable and actionable steps.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your knowledge (you really have made it quite straightforward,) … it has helped me bring myself up to speed after a 30 year hiatus from working in Los Angeles in the motion picture industry working in actual film … boy has technology changed over the years … used to be a gaffer/production manager … but now I just wanna focus on directing short film format - with an eye on longer formats. For my purposes, the iPhone 15 Max Pro is all I really need to tell a narrative story - and with your instruction, I do see a viable way back into the industry (I kinda have insight in that area) … again thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I wish you were around 30 years ago, but then again the technology wasn’t there either.😮
ОтветитьThank you very much. This is a great point to start getting out this flat apple log look! Very nice explanation step by step!
ОтветитьIt's not showing apple log in gamma, what to do, help.
Ответитьthis is the one
ОтветитьThank you for this straight to the point video!
ОтветитьThank you. in the project setting and color management section, what should the color space and transforms be?
- color scineec: DaVvinci YRGB
- timeline color space: davinci WG/intermediate
- output color space: Rec.709 Gamma 2.4
is that correct? and then have 2 color space transform node. first one is Rec2020 Apple Log Davinci Wide Gamur Davincin intermediate and the node at the end of the structure would be Davinci Wide Gamur Davinci intermediate Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 // is that correct?
and if we wanted to use dehancer, we put it in the middle and choose DaVinci WG/Intermediate as source?
thank you again.
enjoyed this a lot. The white balance video didn’t show in the video though.
ОтветитьIsnt it great that in a vast sea of 25 min time waster videos, we have videos like this that knock the whole question out in under 5 mins?
Ответитьhey in my DaVinci Resolve - the apple log input gama is not show , kindly help me plssss
ОтветитьAmong all the videos, this is the one!
Ответитьbut rec2020 is HDR. Translate it in rec709 would make it SDR and lose potencial informaiton
Ответитьstruggling withe export settings for insta so it wont comrress 4k log
ОтветитьThank you so much for this really great and helpful video. I've watched all the videos on Color Grading AppleLog, but none of them explained it as well as yours. Sometimes, after going through the explanation from the other videos, I was left with the feeling that my videos were poor in quality and exposure.
But no, they are not. When I use your instructions, I get wonderful results.
😊
Is there a easier way?
ОтветитьI also wanted to thank for that input color info. I spend many hours trying to find info. It is rec2020, THANK YOU,MAN
ОтветитьBoss i cant find apple log on my options.. can you help me?
ОтветитьThanks for the info!
What’s your color management in your project settings?
Simply press button "A" and DaVinci Resolve flip it in Rec 709.
ОтветитьThanks this was very helpful 👌
ОтветитьFinally found someone who really taught things in detail, more tutorial please
ОтветитьKeep the videos coming! Just a question, I realised you didn’t put Input here like what you did in the gloomy video, is there a reason why? Would having an input colorspace and output colorspace not work on IPhone Log or is it better to stick with this technique?
ОтветитьShort and easy instructions. Thanks a lot 😊
ОтветитьImpressive tutorial, so well explained. I had fun color grading the apple log.
