I need to order more of the Brownell’s blueing, I think I’ll get the gel this time. The bottle I had was the liquid and it all leaked out when the bottle tipped over in my drawer.

Taking an idea and adding to it is the way we move forward. A few inexpensive stepper motors and an Arduino and you could make all kinds of automation for the lathe with that adapter.....

Another modification, making it out of aluminum due to extra weight, use a thicker disc to compensate for the handle tapers, no wiggle.
