My wife and I spent five days and four nights there. We enjoyed seeing all the tourist attractions. If anyone who reads this should enjoy visiting the Ice Caves as well as the famous salt mines. The salt mines were the most interesting being we slide from one level to the next. This was done by sliding down wooden structures on a piece of leather.

Great video of the Vienna to Zurich night train. However, I am very disappointed in the ÖBB Night Jet company. This past may 2024 my wife and I had reservation on this train going from Zurich to Vienna. We never got to Vienna because Night Jet cancelled out reservation and offered to put us on a day train from Zurich to Vienna. My wife and I schedule the night specifically because it was one of their highly advertised first runs…. To take the day train would’ve put us behind in our schedule so we did not accept that alternative. They would not give us a refund. I was very upset about that. I sent them three text messages while I was still in Switzerland the fact that they wouldn’t give me a refund but wanted to put me on a day trip was very disappointing. I still have my two tickets for my wife and I I guess they are souvenirs. I’m not pleased or happy with the night yet. People at all they will not get my vote.

Tbh, looks pretty grim

Never a fan of 10 hour overnight sleeper train as it defeats the purpose of a train ride which is for taking in the views outside. I would always fly anytime it came to short travel over night.
