Undervolt your RTX 3060 Ti for more FPS! - Tutorial

this guide is great! it was working beautifully for the first couple days and now it seems to have automatically reverted back, I tried following the steps again only now i notice that when i set the temp limit and power limit to max, and then apply it, the temp limit immediately goes back to 0 every time. Is there a setting in afterburner i need to turn on/off before I do this? Thanks!

That help, but i dont have that many ventilators like you. Then when i with hand trying my graphic card. Then its ultra hot. And i dont wanna burn my graphic :D also on msi i have two slots to saving things not just one.

Pressing "L" in the curve will lock your GPU to that voltage so at idle you'll be running at 50-60 watts and clockspeeds won't drop, I'd recommend against locking on the curve

Unigine propsistison benchmark, 1st test score: 7202 with min42fps avg54fps max64fps at 60 degrees at 225 watts average
then 2nd test with the undervolt got score of 7080 with 1-2 fps lower on min avg max compared to test 1 and was 52 degrees and 175 watts.

TL:DR I lost 2 fps but got 8 degrees lower temps and 50 average watts lower
on a 1080p extreme test with 16gb ddr4 2666mhz i5 12400f

Undervolting done incorrectly. Of course, the card will consume less power, but it will not provide any performance gain because you have blocked the clocks. The curve should continue to rise beyond 1890, then efficiency will increase within the manufacturer's power limit.

Compared to stock this increased my temps by 3 degrees. Am I doing something wrong?

Before i try that, im using zotac twin edge 3060ti (non oc), and my temps are horrible, somewhere around 98 to 99 idek why, so will this work for the brand and model im using or will is crash?

and what if I get great temperature even with oc ? Should I still undervolt or better performances are due to temperature only ?

*Edit* never mind scrapped it started again and this time it appears to have taken. Similar if jot slightly increased fps in heaven and alot quieter/ cooler
