I thought this list will show games that are atractive to non-gamers or amateur gamers. Gateway games from a perspective of an almost nongamer that had opportunity to try a lot of different games. I thought here I will see games that I should introduce to new gamers first. It was not.
Old TCG? Not. Old game no9 ? Is there a reason to buy this game today? Chaz's game? No. I will not buy Fgame No7, but at least it is a decent choice. At least Star realms is a good choice for 2 player gateway game. Trivial Pursuit? No. No4 is OK. 3rd and 2nd place are useless as gateway games, those games are commitment. No1 was a game that I expected to see on this type of list..
I think the title of this 2part video series was the main reason that I was left dissapointed. This is just a list of person that likes trivia, to collect and deck builders.

Now this is a Top 10 that everyone can enjoy. Your chemistry on camera as friends was so much fun to watch. And the Top 10 list was more relatable than most lists I watch.

Great job guys. I was almost ready to stop watching at trivial pursuit but then he goes and totally redeems himself with the next four so bravo fellas.

This was great, thanks Chaz! I also have a friend who mainly nerds out on music but enjoys board games as a peripheral hobby. So far he loves Catan and X-Wing but it's hard to get him to play anything else. Oh well, to each his/her own.

I do not consider myself an amateur, but I absolutely LOVED Risk Legacy and Dominion is a game I like to go back to once in a while

I have to disagree and say Trivial Pursuit is not accessible at all. Most people I know won't play it because there is a pronounced disadvantage in playing it against people who are just more knowledgeable in general. (And yes, that pie mechanism is just annoyingly pointless). It's for this exact reason that Wits and Wagers, Timeline, and other such games came into being to try and level the playing field and make the experience more fun for everyone involved.

Gaming is about good chemistry between people. Not looking down on someone and being friendly is one of the great things about the Dice Tower.

Wonderful list. Please try to convince your other gaming friends to come on your show with their own top 10s. Your friendship really came through in the video.

I'm a gamer who owns shelves of board games. I've been to Gen-Con. I have multiple game groups I game with.....
....yet I have no BoardGameGeek account and never visit the site. That website is a mess and I hate it.

I wonder what Mick would think of another recent trivia game, America by Bezier. I've been considering it for a fun, new trivia style game. The game mechanics don't look much more difficult than Wits N' Wagers.

Good video. Good chemistry... but many of his top games are only there because those are the only ones he's played. So, not particularly useful to other "casual/amateur gamers". I think the title of future videos in this line needs to be changed to make it clear these are just one dude's favorite games. Cool idea though. I like it!
