Why would a person waste their time doing this for imaginary points that are absolutely meaningless when life is so short and they could spend their time actually playing a game for the actual story/challenge/art/craftsmanship. Imagine laying on your deathbed wishing you read more books or spent time with your family instead of a high gamerscore you planned to have carved on your tombstone
