🎵The Horns Are Back In Town🎵☘
ОтветитьThat's about the wildest way to produce sound I've ever heard of.....you guys are always coming up with surprises!
ОтветитьManaged to watch this twice! Anyway those things are amazing. Thanks for sharing this unique piece of audio history
ОтветитьLong live Phil & Thin Lizzy! ❤
ОтветитьYou guys keep coming up with the most interesting content. Really good job. I look forward to your videos now. 👍
ОтветитьAstounding! I've never heard of a plasma tweeter, but it's pretty intimidating, if not very practical. I have a feeling it must sound great. Thanks for showing off those beauties.
ОтветитьWow, just think what a tank of helium is.. but at least you can use what's left to make funny voices.. I'll stay with something that can be maintained. I had some B-I-C speakers years ago that had a horn tweeter. Always liked them... Am retired now, but if I play the lottery, maybe I'll win sometime, enough to pay for a pair of Klipsch, like Klipschorn!!
ОтветитьWhat is the sensitivity of the loudspeakers ?
ОтветитьGood job ! Audio history, real technology....
ОтветитьThx for this episode. Amazing!
ОтветитьThey listened to the Hill Plasmatronics One and lived to talk of it. Are they really the sweetest smelling loudspeakers?
ОтветитьI heard this @ Opus One in Pittsburgh. There are desert rocks in the base cabinet. Many thought the bass was the sounding aspect.
ОтветитьI'm literally geeking out from this conversation. what good stuff. I'll just take one of them open chairs, and sit down.
ОтветитьEven a Supatrac tonearm! Fantastic setup, I hope more people work with plasma in the future.
ОтветитьCould an argument be made that passive crossovers are obsolete? Why are active crossovers and DSP superior?
ОтветитьAs a 75-year-old retired sound contractor I love your show
ОтветитьMost musicians I know who use JBL have hearing issues and tinnitus
ОтветитьExample as a teenager I saw BB King at Tanglewood with two 12-in JBL he wasn't even miked
ОтветитьAs I recall the JBL systems are still inactivity Northampton Massachusetts probably $40,000 of audio
ОтветитьTo be clear I adore JBL and Electro-Voice guitar speakers thank you Leo fender could you suggest the asking price of a JBL d110 or d120 bless you do not exceed 1800 ft per second😊
ОтветитьSuch an interesting technology.
ОтветитьI was a dealer, Three Phase Audio, Lafayette, LA. Listened to them daily for 4 years. I have never heard anything come close to the Fidelity of them. Dr Hill came to Lafayette and visited us. Amazing times.
ОтветитьLoved the video. So the obvious question is how do we get that little Plasma Fireball into a large metal horn from the 60's?
ОтветитьWoW! That is star wars. Phenomenal, I would love to hear that outfit. I'm into nightclub type sound level.
ОтветитьI'm in the market for some j. B l components horns in particular. I'll be back to you about it. Somehow some way soon. Thanks for all you do. I'm at 46310 zip. And I would love to get on with some SPL with you guys. Quinn your dress code standards are something to be admired.
