Bruh they dont release this but now they released a couple of gay sets heavily involved in politics
ОтветитьME TO
Ответитьboo now still have this toy
ОтветитьI’m with the conspiracy theorists that say they used the ‘War-theme-argument’ as an argument to ‘hide’ the major design flaw in this set. It would show some backbone if they just admitted to that, instead of this stupid argument, which doesn’t stick for the many reasons already given.
ОтветитьWe should expect cancelled lego sets #6
ОтветитьCanceled 6 when?
ОтветитьSo these are one-off licencing problems Lego experience
ОтветитьWho the F* is the "German peace society" and why are they relevant to anybody?
ОтветитьBought 3 today in Australia 🐨🇦🇺🐨
ОтветитьThis is no more than a corporate PR stunt from LEGO. Shame on them
Ответитьhow would lego be in cahoots with arms manufacturers to make a set of a helicopter what
ОтветитьWell star wars is just a movie
ОтветитьLiterally brand it as a coast guard set
ОтветитьIs there actually anyone who agrees with Lego, maybe those who are flogging them on Ebay for nearly AUD $2000. Shame on Lego and those ebay sellers. Cheers
Ответитьits on ebay for only 1200
ОтветитьShould have just released instructions for those who really want it.
ОтветитьWatch Jangbricks video on this, because lego did not give into demand, it was just brought to light that they went against their own policy
ОтветитьThis was the one set I was going to save for. They should have used red and white pieces and called it an air ambulance. Shame we have to be so ignorant.
ОтветитьI was so looking forward to this set.
Its a rescue helicopter . Motorized. Totalled disagree to pull this. Especially when reviewer had received it. Now it's become a super rare almost non available set. Thanks Lego for support this price increase
Wow I was excited for this set
ОтветитьThose who were lucky enough to get sealed copies before it's cancellation are putting it up for auction of eBay. They're making an average $2000 big bucks.
ОтветитьYou cant cancel a Lego set. Right ?
ОтветитьJust ridiculous. Imagine working on this and just hey, uh, we can't release this.
ОтветитьPeople who have probably never brought a Lego set outside their childhood complaining and ruining everyone’s fun, COOL!
ОтветитьIt was cancelled because Lego worked together with Boeing (who make weapon pew pew stuff), the German peace people are against Boeing. They even said if Lego did not put a Boeing logo on the box and not call it the V-22 Osprey they wouldn't have protested. Lego has had several sets 'inspired' by the Osprey and even an F35. Just to clear up why this specific set was targeted and not the other ones.
TL;DR German peace people say Boeing bad for making pew pew planes so Lego not make Boeing pew pew plane but unbranded Lego pew pew plane is okay.
Nah this is used in GTA....they are wrong
ОтветитьI'm behind this move. The set is based off a current ARMED weapon of war that has no weapons. It's also a lisenced product giving money to the military development branche of a large company (not Boing the parent company but bell boing specificly).
Seeing the current state of the US and its withdrawel out of the NATO I can totally understand large EU compabies not funding its military.
Most importabtly tho, Lego has a rule against current modern military vehicles. They have often skirted around it but this with its licencing and everything is just too much against the rule. It's still kind of dumb that they saw it this late tho.
100% soft, bad decision
ОтветитьLego caved too easily, if they are going to be consistent then Star Wars needs to go, and THAT ain't going to happen.
ОтветитьThe policy lego has is no (modern) warfare related products, this (A licensed V22) clearly violates that rule.
ОтветитьEven though it is made as a search and rescue vehicle, most people, including me, were going to change the orange for grey to make it the full military version. Also disappointing to see a brand like LEGO sucking up to the minority. They had no problem releasing TWO Sopwith Camels, which are full on WWI military planes, and yet they can't release a search and rescue version of a military vehicle. Hopefully the Boeing partnership is maintained and a 373 or other Boeing plane is made.
ОтветитьDidn’t Lego release A Sopwith Camel set a few years back? A plane that served in WWI???
ОтветитьFun fact, lego already did an ospray a long time ago... I have it... lego technic 8082. For that reason I was not interested in the new one because, I don't know... at the end it's the same for me. But I felt sorry when I saw this set removed from lego shop.
ОтветитьThis is the world we live in. Everyone is offended by everything. Sad.
ОтветитьSo wait a no war policy yet they have star wars, marvel & dc? So should Captain America be discontinued? Since he is a soldier & all? Iron man was an arms dealer? What about the coast guard sets? Just feels a bit hypocritical
Ответитьi really wish they come out with that
Ответить-_-
ОтветитьThe community should all put together how ever many millions it costs to buy a v22 and then slap lego head stickers all over it and make lego make that
ОтветитьIndiana Jones theme.
Nazi soldiers in the box.
Come on Lego... Don't make me laugh.
Wow. I would've bought this one hands-down. Big fail on Lego's part.
ОтветитьFinally a legit aircraft.....Cancelled
ОтветитьThe problem is lego is not like megaconstrux where they make military vehicles.
ОтветитьYes LEGO's "no realistic portrayal of war" policy is inconsistent and silly and rebranding the Osprey as a rescue vehicle was a workaround, but the issue here is probably that this was an officially licensed product of two aircraft companies who build vehicles actually used in war (look up Boeing and Bell aircraft). Which means profits from LEGO would contribute to real military vehicles being built. It's a nicely designed set. Shame it got so far in the process before they changed their minds.
ОтветитьI am furious with the people trying to justify the cancelling due to "iT's A mIlItArY vEhIcLe AnD sUpPoRtS wAr".
ОтветитьPetition
ОтветитьLEGO should release this set. What if I’d want it?
Ответитьwhy
ОтветитьThis V22 Osprey is cancelled because it's a "Military vehicle"
Yet they have a CH-47 Chinook in the Lego City Forest Police, and in the lego Black Widow set
The V22 Osprey and CH-47 Chinook are both military transport helicopters.
I feel that (assuming the no military thing is good which is another discussion) that it should have never gone ahead. However, since it did go ahead and since it was cancelled so soon before release it has needlessly disappointed a lot of people which in my opinion is not a very good thing for a brand to do. Plus if retailers did not want to stock it or people did not want to but it that is their choice however it has now stopped everyone from buying it
Ответитьi call bs
