Why didn't the antibiotic cure it?
Ответить107 degree temperature?! It’s a miracle she survived!😳
I’m glad she did.👍
Why would someone poke a d3ad squirrel with a stick? Thats messed up
ОтветитьShe had to have interacted with a dead squirrel, or something that was already infected with the bubonic plague. Otherwise it’s not possible to pick up such an infection that easily.
ОтветитьShe's gonna have a great college essay one day
ОтветитьImagine people thanking god for this girl surviving 😂
ОтветитьMy MIL’s older brother died at age 2, before she was born in 1921, from Bubonic Plague. This was in New Orleans around 1919.
ОтветитьThe last out break in the USA was Los Angeles in 1924-1925
ОтветитьMoral of the story, DONT LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY WITH DEAD ANIMALS.
Ответитьtbh that's kind of a badass thing she's going to be able to brag about to her classmates now. "I survived the plague"
ОтветитьOkay but I’m a little confused how the mother did not IMMEDIATELY report those bite marks.
ОтветитьUninformative, emotional, Classic American Trash TV
ОтветитьNew fear unlocked: getting a disease that I thought no longer exists anymore. (The black plague) 😭
ОтветитьIsn't plague incredibly contagious as well?
ОтветитьThe plague is crazy, WOW.
ОтветитьI'm so, so glad that she survived this.
ОтветитьGood thing for modern medicine.
ОтветитьHow would the child allow this video to happen? I am just glad she’s okay
ОтветитьThat is a amazing story
ОтветитьInformative, Y Pestis is terrifying
ОтветитьI don’t understand why the mother don’t flap the coat first coz if my coat dropped on the ground, not to mention a place that is full of dirt and soil, I 1000% would flap it first
Ответить30 % of Europe died, this girl survives. What a champ
ОтветитьNote: do not go poking around dead animals
ОтветитьAt first i thought the thumbnail was a joke but when i saw the first comment i was in shocked.🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьShe could be the only survivor in history to survive the BUBONIC PLAGUE. 🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьThat's why it's called bubonic plague due to the bubos (boils) lumps that form on infected patients
ОтветитьBlack desth isn’t as dangerous as it it back then! Usually it can go away easily in young people, who are healthy! But back then since cure and medicine was scarce there was no cure so it was a true death
ОтветитьI remember watching this years ago!
ОтветитьI’ve been showing interest in the Bubonic plague for years, so much so that I dubbed it as my favourite disease. It’s both making me guilty and interested in this case.
ОтветитьAll deceases caused by bacterias are curable today because we have antibiotics, but viruses, we still lack a lot, vaccines are not widespread yet
ОтветитьThis was an act of God that she survived
ОтветитьThat one episode in Housemd
ОтветитьI thought the bubonic plague was insanely easy to treat, using antibiotics.
ОтветитьEven though the title says she survived, seeing the parents and the doc both crying when they learnt the diagnosis was heart wrenching...
ОтветитьSomehow very old game "Dark cut" popped in my mind
ОтветитьStory goes one Women in England contracted the Plague. In her delirium she was thirsty drank hot bacon grease passed out A few days later she awoke her fever gone. She had recovered In closing some people did manage to recover
ОтветитьGod is good
ОтветитьDamn, they take the history so late................human doctors suck at zoonotic diseases.............
ОтветитьThe doctors hugging Sierra is so heartwarming
ОтветитьBROSKI LISTED MY STATE
ОтветитьPoor kid am glad she is OK now if this poor thing was in pain from the infected lymph nodes can you imagine how it must have felt in 1347
ОтветитьHelp I should the bubonic plague didn't exist anymore what?!
ОтветитьJesus. Thank god nobody got it (hopefully) apart from her but she was better! If someone did and came in contact with lots of other people, it would’ve been over for the entire world!
ОтветитьDid she really have multiple buboes? Most people get only one. The medieval Black Death, though, typically showed multiple buboes too.
ОтветитьThat’ll teach her to play with rotting squirrels… glad she recovered completely.
Ответитьall because of a flea
ОтветитьGirl needs a t-shirt that says I SURVIVED THE BUBONIC PLAGUE
Ответить¡ Wow !, A very MEDIEVAL experience !
ОтветитьThat was almost unbelievable
ОтветитьWhy did the mother not mention the bite earlier???
Ответить
