I'm the kind of guy who rides a license for as long as I can. I rode my R13 license all the way up to R17. I feel as though this version is one I can ride for some time to come, despite the awesome features of R20.

That variation shader makes the C4dplugin ninja shader obsolete!!! rats what a waste of money!!! Maxon loves doing that!! Taking the functionality that some plugin designer made because it couldn't do that before and integrating it making the original plugin obsolete....This goes all the way back to Core Arsenal's Jenna plugin turning into Mograph!!! UGH!!

I can´t find my Cloth Tag in r17 !? or another mode to create the same effect!??

i think the best thing C4D had done was giving some better comprehensive options for the rendering area, they got really close to vray, the mighty vray i should say, everything else in my opinion is of a minor importance.

i havent used c4d since r12 and im hella confused

Wait what?? I just got my head about R16!

Many will sacrifice all these fancy tools for C4D's ability to crank out high quality renders at a" faster " speed than now. GPU render support and using all CPU's too will bring some life back to this program.

C4d is really the best thing that ever happened to motion graphics but i still want GPU renderer :)
