I think the fragance is not "natural"
If it was really natural they wouldn't feel the need to be wordsmiths when describing what natural meant.

I was really rooting for you to choose the Deep sea goats milk. really didn't care about what type of soap I used Decided to give this company a try and I'm so grateful that this was the first bar I chose because it blew me away. My skin didn't feel rough or dry, I literally felt like I had a mud bath and I smelled amazing I couldn't stop smelling myself LOL My arms of course LOL

The most overpriced and over rated soap ever!

I use Dr Sqatch and Duke Cannon and that's it.

It's a guys soap, wish you didn't do this review, just stay with dove or caress soap for feminines.

My favorite is pine tar it’s smells good plus it’s heavy grit so it kinda feels like sandpaper

As far as the marketing it as natural while including synthetics goes: I could see it being a problem if they weren't so incredibly transparent about which ingredients are man-made and which are from nature. At worst I'd be a bit annoyed that they put a "natural" stamp on it, but again, they're so transparent about what is and isn't in it.

They market so hard toward the macho front I just auto assume it's a complete scam

A kind of cumbersome but very workable solution for the "Natural Fragrance" problem that would be realistic for a company like Dr. Squatch (or fragrance suppliers) would be to use a searchable list of ALL the ingredients in ALL their products. When you find the thing you are allergic to, you click on it to see what products it is in. There are four components to the use of the term "Natural Fragrance:" 1. It sounds good to most people (anyone who doesn't know it's a meaningless dodge), 2. Lable space, 3. Protects the secret formula, 4. Keeps customers from misinterpreting science words (cyanocobalamin is just vitamin B12, but it reads like cancer). The clickable feature would also allow room for plain English definitions.

No wonder they’re so expensive. We’re all paying for Star Wars, licensing and fancy boxes.

I don't like ordering from them directly they took a whole month to get to me I just go to Amazon or Walmart

I bought the Fresh falls deodrant and soap bar recently. The deodrant is great and the scent on the soap is great too however the smell doesnt stay on your skin that long at all and the bar itself shrinks really quick.

I read German reviews and many people were not very happy. They said that the customer service was not very good, the shipping too. Other complaints were that the soap finish very quickly and the smell is bland. Some soap lose their colour and make it annoying to clean the shower or bathtub.

I think you have a good eye for design, so in addition to a soap review it's cool to see your take on packaging, website ect. for a company! Also, putting sand in the Darth Maul soap was funny, I assume it's in relation to when Maul tried to run that kid over with his flying motorbike on Tatooine :)

I saw this pop up a few times and decided to watch it because I've been curious about this AND your soaps [only found you in 2023 other than a pop up in a video by Safiya Nygaard] and I love watching you work and seeing others turn to you as an expert - I was so curious what you thought and finally decided to watch this. And honestly I'm glad to hear that you're good too. I might actually pick some up - I considered it since they're in store and I could get an idea for what smells I'd like or what I might be able to get for other people. Still planning to get some of yours - Been looking at the diamonds and others that are simpler to start.

My skin used to feel itchy and rough with the store sold synthetic soaps. After switching to Dr Squatch Coconut Castaway I feel great 🛁 most importantly because it is healthy for the skin. It's made of coconut milk and coconut water that is a staple in tropical Caribbean and Asian countries in keeping their skin healthy naturally. My monthly subscription for my family is a valuable healthy spend 👍👍 kids love to shower 😀😀

Such a great review! I do have to say my fiance ordered that same pack and as the soaps got to about halfway gone it crumbled and broke. Such a bummer! But still a fun thing.

Duke cannon is better

Darth Maul is one of the coolest character makeup designs and I'll never back down from that opinion.

I know I'm a year late here, but I have to point out that the plain shipping box is so great to have when you're trying to sneakily order gifts for someone you live with. There are so many times that Christmas surprises have been ruined by overzealous branding on the outside of the box. Not sure if their boxes are usually branded and they just went with something more subtle during the holiday season, or because you ordered gift sets, but that gives them bonus points in my book. (on a side note, I ordered Dr. Squatch gifts in Dec 2021 and they came in a branded/printed box, but it was a much smaller shipment. So I don't know if the change just had to do with the box size or the timing?)

My sister in law got me the "limited edition" wisdom wash from Dr squatch, it smells like utter crap 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮. Both my wife and I hate it. I will be giving it away to a friend. I use axe and bath& bodyworks and they both smell amazing! I still smell great after 3 days. I have spoken to some people about Dr squatch soap and they have told me it only lasts a few hours and it dries out their skin bad.

They don't brand the box it's shipped in because get this people know that soap ain't cheap and will get this steal it off your porch or a person working for ups/FedEx will also steal it, also I'll go duke much love

The best part about soap, is washing it off with water

Fresh falls and Bay Rum are my fave. Normal body wash makes my skin itchy and dry. Switched and no longer have that issue.

Can women use it?

Dr Squatch is over priced. $8 for a bar of soap. No thanks. Good product for a fool.

Dr Squatch - nice smell on the ones we tried (multi pack from Sam's club- a little pricey) like washing w/ 150 grit sand paper

after many good products i received faulty products , due to the fact they didnt keep good records on my orders , i received faulty products , the told me to fuck off ....7 bars of soap , i sent them pics ,,,,use caution people

They use xantham gum as well not 100% natural
