Ok so NOT fighting Dan Henderson is now on my bucket list.

Henderson still looks like he could be Tim McGraw's punchy little brother.

I heard Babalu is having some bad CTE going on now. Very sad (and scary).

But something was even off with him even in this fight. It's just how he way to grab Hendo's leg for the takedown. It was like so halfhearted (and he wasn't hurt yet). Then when he had his back to the ground you could see the h-bomb coming from a mile away. Yet he did nothing to block it and just ate the punch. He was definitely out on the second punch

I was always a Babalu fan after meeting him years ago. He was a real bad boy fighter's fighter type. He was for real and he brought it. All that just made him entertaining and charismatic. But his ego also worked to his detriment (e.g. getting kicked out of the UFC after almost killing David Heath by holding on to d'arce choke). He also took way too much punishment which shortened his career. You can play a tough guy and take heavy shots when you are young but if you keep doing that you won't last long. Just ask Wanderlei Silva.

‘Babalu’ unfortunately suffered several knockouts in his long MMA career. He has been experiencing issues with balance and vision. Sobral, too, has opened up about his CTE concerns. He said (h/t MMA Fighting), “Today I can’t walk a straight line, I lost sight of my left eye, which is a big price (to pay). I have no balance today, my balance is almost zero.”

There's only one thing I hate about Dan - his lack of restrain after an opponent got a clear KO and lies with an almost cranked neck. He was the type of a fighter who still needed to contine action.
