This was my first ever drum lesson thank you!
ОтветитьThose who feeling discouraged on the last two exercises do what i did i slow it down to .75 speed and play along
ОтветитьAwesome this is the stuff, I need to practice to get into drumming again after along break. Thank you 🤘
ОтветитьI've felt bad as a beginner already, it's even worse now😭 No but no joke, these lessons are great! I'll try these steps every day from now on!
ОтветитьJust got my first kit (E-drum kit) And boy, drums are not as easy as I thought they'd be. This warmup in itself is extremely humbling to my previous expectations and has brought my view of drumming to much higher standards, let alone respect for this instrument. Something that seems so simple, yet, when you do it for the first time, it's one of the hardest thing's you've ever challenged yourself to do. Thanks a million for your generosity in sharing these lessons with us. I will be coming back to this video and most likely many more of yours to jumpstart my journey in drumming. Again, thank you, sir.
ОтветитьI have a lot of trouble with number 5, specifically hitting the doubles on the Tom’s with my left hand. Anybody got tips? Should I just practice doubles more?
Ответитьthis is a good video but I only have 3 toms and not 4 so can’t do it 😢
ОтветитьIs this video on the Drumeo website?
ОтветитьI only have one middle tom is there any way I can modify the workout?
ОтветитьSuper Übung, das hat mich wirklich etwas weiter gebracht !!
Thanks to the whole Team..❤
The paradiddles have me paradiddled I can't make sense of it!!
ОтветитьIf that's beginner, I hate to see intermediate.
ОтветитьOk
ОтветитьDefinitely not a beginner lesson, way too fast
ОтветитьI’ve played acoustic drums my entire drumming life. What specific Yamaha kit are you using (including symbols and rig)?
ОтветитьNiiicee
Ответитьniiiceee
ОтветитьToo anyone beginning drums, these exercises are the most boring thing sometimes but these are where you learn timing, sound quality and control, all the the foundations. Remember the metronome wants to play along too and the cool kids play it slow
ОтветитьA different app is using this vid so i followed the link and subscribed here. Thanks for sharing your content
ОтветитьWhat app or software are you using for the timing
ОтветитьK
ОтветитьAnyone know what type of electric yamaha kit that is????
Ответитьwhere is the sheet music to print out please?
ОтветитьI’ve been sitting behind the kit for over 25 years as his lessons still help me with getting back to the basics. Every drummer can benefit from these lessons.
ОтветитьAghhh the feet man, the feet😂
ОтветитьThank you Jared! I’m thinking of buying a drum kit and will def try this out if I do! :)
ОтветитьWeeee let’s move those sticks!!!
ОтветитьMy watch just thought I was on an elliptical 😂
ОтветитьThis 5 minute exercise is a clean road from 'beginner' to 'not yet intermediate but also not quite beginner anymore'.
ОтветитьI must be too much a beginner. On the first one, I don't know how to get my right hand back to the snare in time for the next time around without my left hand getting in the way.
ОтветитьI got my first drums I learn play my drums watch your video
ОтветитьI can,t get the link of the miusce
ОтветитьWhat amazing teaching content is available online now! I am a 55 year old guitarist and pianist . I just bought a kit 2 weeks ago and already I can see progress. I wish stuff like this was available when I first started learning guitar back in 1982.A big thank you to all of you on-line instructors .
ОтветитьThanks for the video! What drum set are you using?
Ответить"warm up?" many of us would be delighted to get that far! lol
ОтветитьI always watch you
ОтветитьEven intermediate and advanced drummers can pratice these for speed control and clarity. Thanks Jared, you are the master!! 😎🤘🥁🎶🎉🎉
Ответить4th exercise seems like you're really starting to play the drums
ОтветитьReally good
ОтветитьYo even that first paradiddle beat I was like 😬
ОтветитьThis was no joke. After my 20 minute warm up and 5 min freestle playing and single stroke roll exercises I tried this as a challenge. A pretty tiring challenge. my my
ОтветитьGreat lesson...
ОтветитьYou suck at drumming you don't even g ok to Skokie IL
ОтветитьGreat video, and I'm certainly going to try and use it. Though I'll have to adapt it as I only have one tom. IMO there's no way that last exercise is a warm-up for beginners. Double strokes are the fastest way around the kit, but after 18 months of playing I'm still way off being able to play anywhere near that speed and fluency using doubles.
ОтветитьMy kid is a girl and she loves to play drum since she was3
