In my "Mass Effect" campaingn, I did not want to play the Reapers' game.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but I believe Javik's memory shard is absorbed with me into the Reapers infrastructure. And in "Control", it seemed to me my commrades were preparing to go cold war on the Reapers.

I did not choose to "Destroy", because even at the end, I still had a vision for the galaxy. A vision I wasn't ready to give up just yet, because it needed the Reaper technology intact. And the sacrifices to get there, while little in number, were heavy nonetheless.

Is this an example of the strength Kreia was talking about ? I did not rely solely on the solutions the Reapers presented, I also relied on Javik's loyalty and my brain in order to make the best choice for everyone.

Like Kreia quiting the Jedi but not joining the Sith after studying them, seeing them as also a failure, and instead running for Chancellor claiming she's the only one who can fix the Republic following the Mandalorian Wars and help the common citizen while - like Palpatine - having a hidden agenda, in this case being her crusade to destroy The Force
