So I sold my 705. 😂 But I have a frequency counter. Am I looking for 14060KHz or 14660 KHz on the counter?
ОтветитьI used this exact method to zero my frequency, I even have the same dummy load. However I noticed the tr usdx constantly transmits even when the PTT button is not being pressed. It’s a very low output, but still visible on my 7300 waterfall. Is this normal?
ОтветитьHello, If the tru sdx is transmitting into a dummy load how is the second radio recieving a signal?
Ответитьsorry,i have assembled this radio but no have rf output .Why this? Thanks for your work.
ОтветитьManuel, do you have to do this on each band or just 20m will do all? Thx
ОтветитьHello Manuel, quick question, is there a way to use the (tr)usdx on split frequencies?
ОтветитьYou put more good usable information into a short video than most people stuff into a thirty minute video. Keep up the good work. 73
ОтветитьWait.... what just happened??? It was that simple? You are making me feel like I could actually learn this stuff!!! Thanks for that!!!
ОтветитьHi Manuel ¿where is the video where you explain how to adjust shunt constant calibration for efficiency? I cant´t find it. 73 thanks
ОтветитьAfter putting my radio together i was having trouble getting contacts. I checked this to be sure and 40m was off so i adjusted it. Went to 20m to confirm and it was off by about 2MHz. I adjusted that back, and 40m is off again by .75 MHz. (Checked 30m and it's about .5MHz off) Any idea how to fix this? Did i do something wrong during assembly? My dummy load was reading 52ohms with a cheep meter of that makes any difference. I still got a lot to learn. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks a lot Manuel, you are brilliant!!
ОтветитьI don't have a dummy load. I don't have any other transceiver 😭
ОтветитьDear friend, I have assembled your transceiver! You can look at my channel) I have a question. When I change the modulation modes (YUSB, LSB), then when I switch to the telegraph (CW), the transceiver starts to transmit in the telegraph. It doesn't happen on all bands, but it does happen sometimes.
ОтветитьHi do you need to re do this process after every time you switch the radio on or does it remember?
Also mine is 20 down on 40m and 40down on 20m do you sort it out in the highest frequency?
Just got mine yesterday, when I first tried it the sound was terrible, coming in and going out, after doing the same as on this video, works like a charm. I got a qso from Mexico City to Slovenia with it on a 3 pack of 18650 battery pack (for sure les than 5 watts) on 20 mts. Loving the radio.
ОтветитьExcellent thanks for the simple way to do this. In all fairness, mine was very close now it is closer. de KG9H
ОтветитьMy pre-built (tr) uSDX from an approved seller in China should be here any day. I'm very excited. I know everyone uses the internal mic, but is there a recommended external hand microphone? Something inexpensive but very functional? What do you recommend? A link would be great. Thanks for all you do. -- Steve/K7KWW
ОтветитьThank you Manuel, checked both of mine and they are spot on, no adjustment needed. 1st UK group buy. Very pleased with both of them.

I've read in (tr)uSDX website that in the future there will be support for 17/15/12/10m too. Do you have any news on that? If possible, I would really appreciate to have at least a rough estimated date. Thanks for all your efforts, this is a great project!!
ОтветитьHow would you do it please without a commercial radio like the IC-705?
ОтветитьPerfect !
ОтветитьGood to know, id like to get one at some point. Great product!👍
