Sam might has well have worn a shirt made out of red flags. His schtick was so obvious from the getgo. Very insecure and immature person (hard to call him a man) in seek of a woman to practically clobber over the head who would promise to stay with him and "trust him" and love him when he has nothing to offer. The way he treated her during the reveal would have had me backing away slowly and questioning myself. He wasn't affectionate, didn't say anything of substance, made no attempt to connect emotionally. He just didn't show up any other way except as a living, breathing human. But he wasn't interested in or attracted to her and it was so obvious. I really felt for her.

You have to see love is blind germany but specially Argentina. I think in the Argentina show you can have a lot of insight since one of the couples that got married is now in a legal situation because allegedly he tried to kill her.

At first, I didn't like Ben. He didn't give Nicole the assurance she needed at the time and when he tattled on Sam, it just felt vindictive to me and like he wanted to one-up Sam. Watching this now, I can see all the ways I was wrong about Sam and Nicole's union. Oof!! Hard to watch😢

The way he flung himself on the couch in the common area after jasmine dumped his ass and made a spectacle of being so sad and then the next round acted like he’d always been about Nicole made me want to shake him and scream in his face.

The fact that one of the FIRST things you brought up was how he always talked to the women about things they could do for him or what they’d bring to him. I wanted to shout at my tv that he should be talking about things as a WE or US not just a do this for me/it’s about me/bring this to me.

The way Sam acted was if a wealthy relative died and part of the will said “you must be married to get the money”. This show is already a fast-track to marriage but he made it feel even more rushed and panicky. It felt like he was in competition with the other guys or had something to prove. TOTALLY NOT GENUINE. He didn’t care about these women. I also hated his reaction when he saw Nicole. He was acting like he was making excuses for her. Nicole is so nurturing that I feel like she accepted his proposal because she felt protective of him because he’s a baby bird always chirping for something.

Plot twist the show addid Sam in the show for entertainment purpose only, also I feel like Nicole wasn't being authentic from the time Sam proposed to her from the pod room leading to the reveal also. It came across to me that she was also acting along with him. Her reactions weren't genuine, and it was so obvious. I found it quite funny at how bad they were both acting.

Have you watched Love is Blind Sweden ? I loved it and I'm so curious on your comments about Catja and Christopher ! I feel like he's really playing the "nice guy" and it doesn't serve him. The whole conversation they had about him being "too nice" felt like they were missing the point

It never seemed to me that he had ulterior motives per se or was there for the fame, I moreso got the vibe that he was just deeply insecure and was desperate for someone to like him and accept him. And if you’re in that state mentally, you are not ready for a partnership and definitely not ready for this show

I think everybody is misunderstanding the reasoning behind Sam telling Benaiah that Nicole tried to sleep with him and him not taking this opportunity. I honestly believe bis intention wasn't to slutshame Nicole or make her look bad in front of Benaiah. He had been accused of being on the show for the wrong reasons and his reasoning behind this statement was to say "See, I'm a good guy. I didn't come on the show for the wrong reasons. I had the opportunity to sleep with someone and I didn't." It came across horribly wrong but I think this is how he meant it.

“They gave me a bad edit” rubs me so strongly in the wrong way. It reminds me a lot of a really manipulative ex that I had, and once he had broken up with me, and I started talking about the relationship with my friends, and just shared things he actually did and said, word ended up getting around town (small town) and he absolutely blew up at me, how I was ruining his life spreading rumours like that. Like dude all I ever did was say things you did or said to me! And only to two people! If you don’t want people to know what a horrible person you are, don’t be a horrible person maybe? It’s not a bad edit if you actually said those things, just like how it’s not spreading rumours and slandering your reputation if you actually did those things!!!!
