Congrats on the learners permit and kudos to you driving in an active parking lot! This video brought back memories of my dad teaching me, as a teenager, to drive in an empty beach parking lot during the winter (grew up on LI) just to get the "feel" of the car. When I was in college, the only car I could afford was manual transmission ("stick shift") and he had to teach me. OMG. So much chaos! I accidentally stalled on some railroad tracks (no train coming). My dad was so exasperated and said, "Why'd you do that?!?!" I replied, "I dunno! Just figured your life didn't have enough excitement, so I purposely stalled on some railroad tracks!" LOL!
