Also, the fact that many quests still have some complicated puzzles drives me nuts, some quests require you to have bossed. Why can't the rs3 team get fired and get replaced by a more competent team, like the osrs team?

It sounds good. Even as a lorehound trying to figure out what is 6th/5th Age can be hard.

Decent idea. I kinda like it.
Part of a solution for new accounts would be, imo, to give new players 3 choices :
1. I like lore: funnels them into storyline questing. Would last until dragon slayer or another milestone quest.
2. I like chill skilling gameplay: funnels them to various skills (and not for 3 seconds per skill like the current burthorpe tutorial). Would last until level 30 in chosen skills.
3. I wanna fight: funnels them to fight stuff, maybe even give them a little taste of what late game combat is like with a small explanation of overheads and situational abilities. It would require weapons from non necromancy styles to work like necromancy (tier 10 weapon at level 1) because tier 1 weapons feel extremely bad. Would also require a better combat tutorial. Would last until level 40 in combat skills and level 40 gear for each of them.

This would also require a f2p expansion to include all skills to level 30, and necromancy to level 40, as well as include some quests into f2p + their areas, like diamond in the rough and rune memories.

Right now, the tutorial tells you to do stuff no one ever does in a core gameplay loop, giving a very skewed vision of what the game is like.

You should send this to Mod Stu.

Not a bad idea. Whether or not this would be their approach, some sort of timeline quest organization would be great for the game.
