Khatia Buniatishvili - Chopin: Prelude in E minor Op. 28, no. 4

Not really sure what's going on with the bass chords having that brazen tone to them, maybe it's the recording, or the piano.
Anyway, one of the slowest versions. She tends to often play slower than many other pianists, doesn't she? For this prelude I like it, however, even though it's not the speed that Chopin wanted.

I don't know how anyone can say Khatia is all about virtuosity and lacking in musicianship. She plays a piece like this with the depth of emotion and sensitivity it deserves. Her critics, for the most part, are way off base IMO.

The most difficult part about the piece is expressing it with the right emotions, the correct dynamics and not too rush it. She did it perfectly.
