The game didn't really have a plot just drive and kill. The movie gave it a story a goal and I almost didn't watch it, because of the game. I'm glad I did!!! I feel they changed, what they did, for the better. Matter a fact they should remake the game based off the movie 🍿😅

I found season 1 on and off at times but it was good until I saw the cliffhanger. It definitely gives me hope for season 2!

I think you missed a lot on this, some right for sure, but #1 difference is Quiet as she and her brother loud are brand new characters and never in a single game what so ever, Mr. Slam he was a short hair construction worker who wanted to build, very different than the show.

I never knew this show was based on an old game series til I saw it in the credits. It may be different from the games, but it’s still a fun show to watch.

I’m not sure if I can even HANDLE the intensity of THIS series, much less THE GAMES that it was based on!

I'm hoping that Will Arnett's and Samoa Joe's Sweet Tooth will return for season 2.

I've been a long time fan of the series and I was worried when I saw the early previews of the show. But after binge watching it several times, i love it. Not only is it a combination of all the Twisted Metal games but it is set in a world that has so much potential for some new games. Keep the classic car combat but add elements of an open world action RPG like GTA and Fallout. Set in the aftermath of a worldwide catastrophe (Y2K or World War 3), where only the ruthless and twisted survive by robbing and killing. A mysterious traveler called Calypso has summoned the most craziest drivers of the wasteland to offer them a chance to compete with his tournament called Twisted Metal. For whoever wins will be offered a chance to wish for anything their hearts desire. There is only two rules: survive and there are no rules. Aside from each driver having their own unique vehicle, many of them are leaders of vicious gangs that control the roads. Each gang is modeled after a certain character of the game; such as: the Clowns, Lawmen, Holymen, Reapers, Dolls, Brides, Rednecks, Vultures, Big Wheelers, Cabbies, Shadows, and Milkmen. Not only do you have to battle other drivers but now you have to fight their soldiers. What could set the new game apart from it's previous successors that you could upgrade and modify your car that will make you deadly and help you survive the level. Yet this means to have to go on missions and side quests to collect weapons and armor upgrades. You have to outrun, out gun, and out crazy these fuckers to survive. In certain levels, you have to take on the hardest drivers in the game to succeed to the next level. Drivers like Axel, Minion, Pit Viper, and Dark Tooth would serve as the main bosses, which means they could do the most damage and your driver needs to be upgraded and able to survive. The game could finally explore Calypso's mysterious origin; how he got his powers and how he created Twisted Metal. The game could be called Twisted Metal: Born or Twisted Metal: Reborn; since it's a new beginning for the series.

Loved the show and I have played almost every video game entry. But I'm not sure why everyone keeps referring to Twisted metal 3 as the worst in the series. TM4 was clearly worse than TM3. For game play, Head-On was the best.

My theory with Raven is the black version is who she used to be. She already won the tourney so that's why she believes calypso.

They forgot one more difference about Sweet Tooth in the TV show,Sweet Tooth doesn't have a family that he killed first and is chasing his daughter who escaped from him just like in the video game.

I played couple twisted metal races years ago, but i dont really remember the characters, story and what you had to to in those games.
Theese series were a bit wierd and cringy at times, but I wouldnt say I really hated it. Some vfx looked really cheap. Like that storm looked awfull. Like 1999 tv show. But other than that, easy watch.

You missed the fact that the show's Sweet Tooth is Micheal Kane/Needles Kane, which is the son Sweet Tooth didn't kill. So technically a different Sweet Tooth taking up the mantle

I like TM3!!!! I don't think is the worst in the franchise. I love all PS1 TM games. In fact, when they moved to the New generations I think it is when the franchise started to fade down

I think the video game was a bit more slapstick crazy that wouldn't be good TV so they've done well making something more fleshed out and enjoyable, I never played twisted metal but I loved the show.

Sweet Tooth is the name of the vehicle Marcus drives whilst the murderous clown with the flaming head is known as Needles Kane.

At first didn't want to give this show a chance but then really got into it. Characters are great, action and comedy are on point and plot is good. Great adaptation
