This really is an apples to oranges test. Windows uses RAM differently, allocates RAM differently, uses file cache differently, and reports RAM differently. Linux, especially KDE/XFCE or just a WM, will (almost) always be a lot lighter than windows, but a straight quantification comparison like isn't really an accurate picture, sadly.

Nice ram uasage. KDE on MX consume less than hubuntu on XFCE. you can say buy bye gnome

I haven't seen those kind of low RAM figures in MX Linux since the 19 series and certainly not in KDE, the most resource hungry DE of them all. Running in virtualbox must be skewing the figures maybe? In the real World with proper bare metal installs I'm seeing 820 MB (MX Linux 21 (XFCE)) and 2.1 GB (Windows 11) Still a significant difference but not quite the 25% you're implying there.
