I would be curious on potential relationship between epilepsy, gaba receptors and potassium levels. I know it's somewhat debatable but I'm curios if types of anesthesia (affecting gaba receptors) can cause epileptic seizures for any reason.

FYI for anyone interested a ketone called 3-hydroxybutyrate also is a GABA agonist.

Benzodiazpines suck compared to alcohol in my opinion, alcohol has waay more Euphoria and its not even close. Benzos are like alcohols big ass without the cute face and personality, they are boring and for me they are useless, unless I'm hungover, on the verge of a panic attack or can't sleep. But phenibut and kava (2 other gabaergics) I can get down with, they actually have personality. Baclofen has a great fuckin personality too, both baclofen and kava helped me with my drinking on separate occasions, whenever the alcohol demon beats me into a bloody pulp I find myself running back to the warm reassuring arms of Baclofen or kava extract.

WOW!!!! this video eplains why i have now insomnia for 2 weeks after i accidentally ate a MEGADOSE of 6 mg of xanax mixed with a bottle of wine in one night, i slept for 18 hours straight, and when i woke up i still felt sleepy and slept for the rest of the day, my friends said i could have died. after that i started to have nightmares the rest of the week and i would not be able to sleep for more than 3 hours at a time and it would take me 5 hours of laying down in bed to be able to sleep. i started to develop bags under my eyes and they would become bloodshot red... i realized this must be xanax withdrawals of my brain so i made sure to rest easy for two weeks. battling the nightmares and feeling like my heart was getting tired from not being able to rest... very interesting how gaba can affect our dreams, and sleep. i am only 12 years old and this experience really made me understand that the brain is just a little ball of beautiful chemical cocktails. take care of your brain people ,say no to drugs!!!! they may help short term, but never help long term. try to change diet and exercise, even change your partner or job!!! do your own research and help yourself, doctors just don't care!
