Never heard of a failed engine in my country, including loads of highly tuned RS3’s. They are all well maintained though but pushed super hard still and run rapid times …

Further to this, I would also recommend having oil samples sent for analysis on each change so you have a trend of the engine health based on factual evidence from the lab. Great peace of mind!

Would a standard rs3 engine fail?

Hello I’m from South Africa 🇿🇦 I’ve experienced d same thing wth my car , jst in the morning start it went straight to misfires. Took it in to Audi dealer, it’s been a month n weeks , they fixed new piston n rings but still after the whole job ? It misfires again , now they stripped again only to find block skew so it went for skimming engineering? So now Waiting on their feedback ? Pls help wat could possibly be cz I’ve been following ur page on instagram n utube.

These motors are failing quite frequently it seems but they most likely have been abused by the owner.

Is tuning without engine safeties a normal thing in the UK? If so, why? Is it shady tuners or people that don't know what they're doing?

The music was distracting as hell, and not in a good way.

Europeans have this dumb "Octane Booster" tune. Dumbest thing I've heard - its no wonder ya engines blow up.

Do RS3s have engine safety's as standard?

I blew my RS3 engine twice, both times cylinder #3. When you touch E85, be very careful. Then, out of the blue, the transfer case and the rear diff were gone as well.

What about if it logs misfires in 3 cylinders during the high idle cold start but when the revs come back down it runs smooth. New plugs, coil packs, good compression, a bit off with the leakdown

I have a 2019 RS3 with 50k miles I just bought. I have been wanting this car for a very very long time. I just purchased the car 3 days ago and had it checked out by a performance shop that checked everything including compression which was good. All they said was there was a very little bit of oil on the spark plugs and a small oil leak in the back but nothing major. So I bought it. It is an IMS710hs RS3 with a UNI ECU /TCU non built motor tune currently on E85. It runs great! loud and fun, I don't push it too hard. I did however just watch your video. Especially just now purchasing this and I am not made of money. I wanted to ask how I can keep this car running and safe? What do I need to do for someone not just made of money? I want to have this car running strong for a long time. How can I protect the engine. I am in Miami, so I can't obviously come to you guys. Thanks so much for your time

How much for ECU/TCU tune Stage2 or 3?

Are you able to remote tune/street tune? I live in the USA.

The only fuels I have available are 91acn which is the minimum fuel I can run. As well as E85 year round. How would multi-map run on my RS3? Would we tune for 91acn,E30,E60???

In 2 more months my RS3 will be rebuilt. I’m building Stage1 motor build similar to what your shop offers. Seeing that you know what your doing with these engines. I’m seriously considering switching to Gt-flasher. Lmk. Thank You.

The first thing i would have checked, was the point gap, in the distributor. Even 1-2 mm out, will cause the engine to misfire. Thank me later. 😉

Do you replace the block, or are the cylinder walls salvageable?

tuned by unitronic, after market injectors and all the bells and whistles. i beat it day in and day out and the most i had to do is replace injector gaskets or seals, and had bad luck with a bevel box. should i be worried in the future for sudden engine failure?
