I like the GTM scroll trigger combined with the timer trigger of say 60 seconds to track engagement. Thanks
ОтветитьFast pace analytics by Analytics Mania :D. The whole channel is quite useful, thank you Julius.
ОтветитьAciu Julius!
ОтветитьSuper Julius
ОтветитьSo fast and so well explained, that's a talent you have. thanks amigo
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьHey Julius!
Thank you for your helpful content! Might you be able to tell, is it possible to track single slide scrolling (i have vertical slider on my front page installed with couple horizontal slides as well)? Both vertical and horizontal slides moves forward with downside scrolling .
Thanks forwardly for your answer and best regards!
Hey Man!! Very good video. but I have doubts, I tried to do it a few times, but when I go to check the TAG preview, the Scrools are already loaded. And I didn't even move my page. What can be going wrong. Could you help me, please.
ОтветитьGreat video. All is working correctly, except: "not set" is one of the percent_scrolled values being reported, and is by far the largest. How can this value be accounted for? Event is set up for 25, 50, 75, 90. Could "not set" be 0%?
ОтветитьI'm having an issue where the tags are firing correctly in gtm and in the ga4 debug mode, but when create a table in ga4 of page title, scroll depth and sessions, the scroll depth values all display zeros. Please can you help me with this? Thanks
Ответитьvery informative video
ОтветитьThis just work for static pages or also for dynamics ones?
Ответитьi had insert scroll event - in GA4 if i insert payment traffic i see percent of scroll correctly but if i insert campaign too i see NOT SET why? example: ROW (NO SET) SCROLL 25%:200 - SCROLL 50%: 160 etc... BUT ROW CAMPAIGN GENERIC SCROLL 25%: 0 - SCROLL50%:0... and so on why?
ОтветитьHello, All done, but under Custom Dimensions in GA there is no longer the option Scope "Event" in GA4 or GA. So, how can I add the scroll Custom Dimension?
Ответитьso detailed! This helps me on GA4 a lot!!
ОтветитьJulius, thanks a lot! 😊
Ответитьhow i make a public out of this reports so i can advertising for them ?
ОтветитьHi, super video.
1. For this Event, when the user scrolls, does the G4 record all scroll values 25% 50% 90% or only the scroll value to which the user max scrolls on page ?
2. how to make an event that records max scroll before leaving the page?
Hi Julius, thanks for your video. I have a question. Maybe i don't understand, if like this, please send me the time in video about this. I want to track scroll depths in GA4 like conversions but i don't want to do this in "real time". For example i want to see how many people scrolled %75 in last 30 days in GA4. I hope i can tell my problem. Thanks a lot.
Ответитьthat was awsome
ОтветитьHi Julius, many thanks, helped a lot! Martin
ОтветитьIf there isn't any limitation on clicking thumb up, I would click 1000+ times for this video, thank you Julius for these most treasurable videos which have been improving my skills gradually.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I set up scroll tracking. Something weird that I'm noticing is that the 90% scroll gets more hits than the 25%. Shouldn't the 25% scroll always have more hits than 90%? Any pointers here? Cheers.
ОтветитьLove your videos and have implemented several things but scroll depth doesn't work for me. It's a trigger but when I hit preview debugger and come back it's not listed even after adding the trigger variables. Wish i knew what i did wrong.
ОтветитьThat's amazing. So clear and understandable. I was thinking it was complicated and difficult to implement scroll down tracking, but now so easy. Thx a lot!!!!!!
ОтветитьHey Julius, thanks for the content. I have one issue with my site though.
I have been trying to come up with a solution to differentiate scroll tags on my pages because of my comments. Basically, I set 80% for full post scroll. However, when I have many comments, full post scroll would actually be 50%, but others page it will roughly be at 80%. Is there another calculation to resolve that?
Thanks
Great video, thanks! I can't find the report in GA4 where the different percentages of scroll tracking are listed in a table, only in real time mode!?
ОтветитьThis video made me so happy. Thank you for the content!
ОтветитьMy developer created a website, kind of like a slider, where it loads all pages in one load. Therefore, in GTM debug mode, it's showing 4 scroll depths as soon as I just reload the page in GTM debug mode. How can I fix GTM to only show 1 scroll depth at a time? Do I need to have my web developer to modify how they program the website? Please advise.
Ответитьthanks teacher very good class!
ОтветитьHey Julius
Please tell me which Google Analitics report can be used later to find and analyse this data (for the first method) 😅
Best regards!
Thank you very much! This video helped a lot!
Ответитьthis videos has helped me a lot to understand how to create an event in Tag manager and share it with GA4, Thanks
ОтветитьGreat video but is there a way to exclude links to anchored text on a page, which is a scroll on the page?
ОтветитьThank you!!! I took a Google Analytics course / certification to figure this out and was left without an answer and you’ve provided a way in less than 10min! This GA4 transition has been a pain so I’m glad I came across your channel! I’ll definitely be using it as a resource for the rest of my set up
ОтветитьDid you actually publish the container? I saw you preview but not submit it. I read of people not seeing their events show up under. “All events” in GA4 and it seems it may be because they forget to click “submit” on the container in tag manager.
ОтветитьQuestion : is this method will be tracking the scrolls on each and every page of the website please ?
ОтветитьKietai
ОтветитьHow to track scroll per each page separatelly?
ОтветитьHi! just set it up. 24 hours for it to show data from it, does that include even showing the event under reports and path exploration? as of now i dont even see the event. Best regards
ОтветитьDoes this event count towards engagement on the page? for example if a user scrolls 10% are they now an "engaged session"? Our engagement rate is quite high and I suspect this might be the issue
ОтветитьThis is excellent material Julius.
ОтветитьThis video is Excellent man... 👍 you touch on all the necessary details (including Why it's a Dimension and not a metric.) and straight to the point..
ОтветитьSending this to our clients for sure.. and setting it up for those who pay for SEO with us. What an easy video!
ОтветитьWhen I send a scroll depth event to Facebook, it only shows up once in the Facebook Pixel Helper. However, when I check in Google Tag Manager (GTM), I see that all scroll events (10%, 20%, 30%, and so on) are firing as expected but do not show in the Facebook Pixel Helper.
I have previously worked on multiple projects where the scroll depth events worked perfectly. However, today I noticed that the scroll depth events are not working on any of my projects; only the first event shows up in the Facebook Pixel Helper.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Does this work in 2024?
ОтветитьThanks you so much ♥
Ответитьgood man good man
