Looks like you try to excuse your chibson guitar mate ... but in your hand and HIS hands ... it sounds AMAZING ... and they look bloody similar ... and on top of it he said it’s lighter ! Haha ... one of the worst things about LP is they’re heavy as hell and the headstock angle is too much... so it looks the perfect guitar to me specially given the price !!

Why do so many say "oh with gain the difference becomes......", No with gain a bad guitar sounds like a bad guitar with gain, & a good guitar sounds like a good guitar with gain. I'd like to hear those on the same amp cause the real one sounds considerably better. And sorry it all starts with the guitar itself, yes wood is a big part, then come pickups. The guitar gives it its pesonality n the pickup its voice. A good piece of wood has a depth n complexity to the sound a bad piece kinda dead and 2 dimentional. Not saying your cibby is a bad piece but not a gibby piece.

I have a Chibson that has the tiny post for the bridge. It's a Jimmy Page one. The bridge post isn't really a tell anymore, they are getting closer

If you cant intimate a guitar cant take saddles back far enouph .....flip them around backwards. And that is a solid curly maple top

Gibson could learn a lot by making guitars this way and letting players do their own modifications and hardware. Hell, I bought a Gibson Les Paul and paid over. 1000 dollars for parts to make it better for me…. I bought a Chibson for 229 and added 150 worth of parts and it plays and sounds better than my real LP…. Gibson should reimburse China for FREE advertising by having their name on a Chinese guitar…. Gibson should also invest into China and get these guitars in the hands of everyone they can at an affordable price. If it were not for Slash, after Les Paul himself , Gibson would be looking for a hero…. And let’s NOT forget that Slash had a FAKE Gibson made by Chris Derrig, RIP. Gibson did not sue or go after Chris for making a realistic copy of a 59 LP…… I love my Chibson and you should too and unless you are allergic to having money in your pocket, buying a Chibson will save you money for a Friedman Amp and pedals…. Win …win

I can't see why anyone would buy a Chibson when you can get a used Epiphone for the same price. It's a higher quality guitar, has a warranty, and will last longer. Then, if you decide you'd like something different you'll have no problems trading it in. Only someone who wants to pretend to own a Gibson would buy one, and that's pretty sad.

I've had Epiphones, and I currently own 2 Gibson Lps. I wouldn't have an issue buying an Epiphone model I liked in the future, but I'd never buy a fake of anything. It's always junk.

Some need to stop lying by saying these chibsons are made by Epiphone employees..first off the Epiphone Qingdao facility is Run and operated by American Master luthier Scott Lewis and American luthiers..some Asian luthiers are there also...the Epiphone Qingdao facility is owned by Gibson Epiphone not the Chinese..the building and ground it sits on is designated American property..Scott Lewis has been with Gibson Epiphone 46 years and the American luthiers are Gibson Epiphone employees..and the Qingdao facility makes Epiphones only.. no other brands so stop the bs that chibsons are made by Epiphone..
