I wish I could find a restaurant that only did a 100% markup. In Austin, the norm is 2-3X markup, and some of the really arrogant restaurants will go as high as 400% markup.
Ответить"If you want to drink it out of a paper cup, then you drink it out of a paper cup." – We've all been there.
ОтветитьTRY THE WINE
ОтветитьReally great video
ОтветитьBy your judgement, where would this wine stands compared with the 5 1st Grows or 2nd Grows of Bordeaux?
ОтветитьI’d like to think that the winemaker occasionally fills the quality product into a random cheap bottle for some lucky recipient. LOL
ОтветитьFascinating video 🍷
ОтветитьThis dude is hilarious
ОтветитьAgreed, a well-made wine means everything. I make a unique wine blend that no one makes.
Ответить$1500 is your part of the rent? I’m guessing André is going by NY rates here because $3000 for rent is insane.
ОтветитьYou can buy five or six bottles of Sassicaia for the price of one bottle of Harlan Estates. Sassicaia typically gets 98 to 100 points in professional reviews. I think I'll skip the Harlan and look for half a case of Sassicaia. Other people might think differently.
Ответить1550 USD for a 2017 US wine is just outrageous.
ОтветитьI dont even drink but have been binging André’s videos lol
ОтветитьHow many years does it takes to learn the lingo?
ОтветитьThis video was not made for someone with my financial status, but when I get there, I will be ready for this wine.
ОтветитьMake an endless edit of him pulling the cork
ОтветитьRip off, but then the rich have more money then sense.
ОтветитьBlind taste test him
ОтветитьAmericans : trying $1,500 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon. French people : hold my glass of Romanée Conti
ОтветитьI live close to Napa and there’s a local family run winery that I drink a lot of their wines, and after the 2020 fires, some of their grapes were affected. They made a 2020 Tempranillo that I tried at their winery and I kid you not, it was smokey! So I bought a bottle to show my parents whose ranch was affected by the same fire. The odd thing was, the glass at the winery was SMOKEY but the bottle less so. It still had hints, but not the same. So I wonder if the bottle at the winery had grapes close to the fire while the other bottle was a little more protected. Either way it was fun and interesting!
ОтветитьHe's trying to be super chill, but don't f'in put a $3000 wine in a paper cup. Thanks lol
ОтветитьYou lost me at global warming!
ОтветитьI’ve never heard anyone talk about pricing of land and cost of growing and maintaining a vineyard down to the acre.
ОтветитьCan you make a video of how to wash this decanter? Lol
ОтветитьWhere can I buy his wine glass?
ОтветитьThe growing prevalence of fires in America has nothing to do with global warming and everything to do with our broken bureaucracy. Before the 1980's the government used to regularly engage in the practice in the cutting of deadwood and firebreaks in forests that the USFS took care of. Now, because of new environmental regulations that were passed by activists and politicians who don't actually understand how to maintain a healthy forest, the practice is illegal in government protected forests. Its why wildfires are so rare in forests that are privately managed, where the practices of properly managing deadwood is still maintained, and so common in states where all the forests are government controlled.
Ответитьme 1 box of wine in explaining to my friend how it's actually much better than bottled wine
ОтветитьIve always liked the "bad" years in Napa...
ОтветитьThank you for your articulate explanation that I can understand.
Ответитьis it bettrr thsn carlo rossi?
ОтветитьLove this guy.
ОтветитьWhat do they do at the valey with toxic rains and unhealthy usa air that it doesn't affect the price compared to wineries in Italy and France?
ОтветитьThe thing people like about this guy is he’s teaching. Not showing off while teaching nothing like most “teachers/instructors/educators…etc”
ОтветитьGreat Information Brother 😎😁❤
ОтветитьThe Paris Wine Tasting of 1976, also known as the Judgment of Paris taught me what I need to know about reputation and prestige. In the end, taste is what counts.
ОтветитьMmm, iron ore.
ОтветитьI drink very little but love your videos. On this video, the music.....bleah. Some points obscure your voice. ... and it is elevator jazz...or something like
ОтветитьTry some Norton wines. The Norton variety of grape. Norton wines are some of the BEST that I have tasted.
ОтветитьCalifornia taxes and regulations help make a bottle of wine cost $1500.
ОтветитьThe first half of the video explains why no one outside the US drinks Napa Valley wine at any of the various price brackets...
ОтветитьJust found your channel 👏👏 Nicely educational in a fun way, intelligent , thank you
ОтветитьThere is very little effect of global warming on Nampa I lived in CA over sixty years and the weather is what it was in the past, so IMO that is not a factor.
ОтветитьI cant unsee his nails.
ОтветитьWent to an amazing multi course dinner that featured Harlan estate wines. Their manager walked us through 8-9 pairings. It was amazing.
ОтветитьThe audio mix is terrible
The beat is way too loud and Andres voice has absolutely no body
Just buy a $25 wine and you’ll be just fine!
ОтветитьDo DRC next.
ОтветитьNOTHING justifies $1500 for a bottle of wine. Stop ripping people off!
Ответитьscrew this guy
