Beidou satelite is good but Beidou map is horrible and not user friendly. Chinese apps, branded products etc should learn to listen to customers from "out of China" if you wanna tap the market and don't be stubborn to use China model to the rest of the world. Just like you guys are asking donald duck trump not to force western value into China

Global Navigational Satellite Systems (GNSS)

There are now currently FOUR GNSS’s orbiting the Earth:
(1) GPS (Global Positioning System) global coverage in 1994 - uses 24 GNSS (USA)
(2) GLONASS global coverage in 1995 - uses 24 GNSS (Russia)
(3) Galileo full global service in 2016 - uses 30 GNSS (EU)
(4) BDS (BeiDou Navigational System - BeiDou, Mandarin for the STAR OF THE BIG DIPPER CONSTELLATION) Navigation Satellite System final globe coverage in 2020 - uses 35 GNSS (China)

Both EU’s Galileo and China’s BeiDou GNSS’s can function independently or in connection with USA’s GPS and Russia’s GLONASS GNSS. So they do not have to worry have to worry about USA or Russia shutting down their GNSS’s.

GNSS are an integral part of our Society today, and we can’t function without it - society would shut down. GNSS is now integrated in:
- Cab and Trucks
- Ships and Aircrafts
- Financial and Communication activities outside the Internet
- Public utilities such as Medic Alert
- Security and Humanitarian operations
- Emergency Services

Unlike USA’s GPS and Russia’s GLONASS, both EU’s Galileo and China’s BeiDou increase positioning accuracy to 5m.
In addition, both Galileo and BeiDou GNSS’s provide an SMS service outside the Internet
This has enabled regions across the World where Internet Satellites are not in Service (e.g. Deep Jungles, Deep Deserts, High Mountains), Galileo and BeiDou can provide them SMS Service for 2 way communications anywhere in the world.
