Taiwan No. 1
ОтветитьHow did i get here
ОтветитьI would like to see a comparison between Harbor Freight’s: Pittsburgh, Quinn and Icon ratchets and sockets. I would also like to see a comparison between their open end/box end wrenches. I haven’t been able to find much information on the strength and durability between these three brands.
ОтветитьSo, $14 Taiwanese Crescent then ...
ОтветитьI can't believe you can find so many brands I've never heard of! Great tests though, thanks!
ОтветитьI get the logic behind not warrantying the tools, since you're kind of abusing them, but from a consumer standpoint, that stuff DOES matter. I'd like to see you go through the warranty process and give your feedback on it, even if you don't ultimately send your tools back, how easy is it to get to that point? Like how much effort does it take before you have a shipping label?
ОтветитьI'd like to see some videos comparing the newer icon tools and quinn from harbor freight against other brands. Curious to see how quinn lineup stacks against other products since it seems to be a decent budget or "prosumer" brand from what people say.
ОтветитьI love that gunmetal chrome from Craftsman. Wish they would tighten up their manufacturing.
ОтветитьLiking just for the thumbnail before even watching the vid
ОтветитьThe gen 2 120xp with a bolt on faceplate is much better than the first gen with the circlip.
ОтветитьAlways found American tools to be mid range at best
ОтветитьOnly problem with gear wrench is all their ratchets wear out in about six months in a professional setting, the wrenches seem to last forever, I still have most of the original set that is at least 20 years old.
ОтветитьThanks for this roundup on rachets, part Duex. Can. you test ANR headsets, Sony, Bose, AVG
ОтветитьHow does Husky stack up? I got a set for Christmas. I'm use to an old fashioned hand me down Blackhawk set which I still prefer.
ОтветитьHazet have switch direction lever made in plastic and the handle is not resistant to chemicals such as petrol or diesel ,mine after 30 seconds of contact with engine oil, the handle melted on mine.I immediately sent it back to Amazon, Germany.
ОтветитьSo with Trump's tariffs next year we'll all be buying the US made 220$ one. Can't wait !
ОтветитьYour policy on never returning tools after testing is extremely refreshing!
I believe that because you built your channel on honesty, you’ve been blessed with a very quick rise from humble beginnings to an extremely popular channel!
Now you just have to get large enough to make it economically viable to settle the Chevrolet versus Ford versus Dodge debate!
Bonjour à tous moi je zyklop de la marque wera avec sa tête orientale .il peut se mettre vertical pour approche rapide
Je plus commode que tous ces qui sont essayé. Bonne journée.
I guess you missed out a very important test: take some jesus sized nails and hammer them with the ratchet in a piece of oakwood. peak abuse. 😅
Thank you for the video!
Could you test resistance to gasoline? I had a ratchet melt when working on a lawn mower
ОтветитьI traded in all my tools for Ko Ken and NePros years ago... I just created a Amazon Japan account and had them shipped to me. I will never go back to Snap On...
ОтветитьWhy is Icon never on the list?
ОтветитьI would take the cressent. It does 98% of the 212 dollar snapon on and you can still buy sockets, extensions, a set of decent screw drivers and a couple pair of knipex pliers.
ОтветитьTo work on utility tractor on the small farm I need 3/4 torque wrench (300ft.lb) and ratchet. Could not find those in your tests. Please, consider as the topics.
ОтветитьWaiting a set thru war by you, Channellock 39100 ultra acess , Crescent x6 , Sata , Klein Tools , Gear Wrench , Bahco s530t , makita , craftman , pit.
Ответитьwhat no australian wrenches no sidchrome no kincrome the best we have in australia I would stack up with snapon as both have life time warranties
ОтветитьHazet 1000Nm will be a better choice…
ОтветитьI have the new style gearwrench 120xp, i wonder if the mechanisms are different or upgraded because they see this video. I use my 3/8 all the time and its so smooth and works great in tight spaces.
ОтветитьDirectional lever change. I frequently find that the lever moves on its own when working in thight spaces. I prefer the highest force to change it vs. your preference of the lowest.
ОтветитьTeng Tools are a Taiwan company and make some good tools.
FACOM is French they own Britool and also make Halfords Pro range.
Ratchets are more about convenience than brute force and i like a 1/4 drive that's positive and can use single handed as often you need other hand to hold objects so need ratchet to move reasonably freely.Had a 1/4 and 1/2 drive ratchets from Ampro had shed loads of abuse and still work 1/4 really lent on it and snapped extension bar in half!.
TengTools is designed in Sweden and manufactured in Taiwan.
ОтветитьI would be interested to see which tool manufacturers would honor their warranty
ОтветитьYou are the bomb! Thank you for making these types of videos.
ОтветитьAny thoughts on doing an updated video with the new snap on
ОтветитьAs far as the Gedore goes , replace the coupler and carry on.
ОтветитьThe failure load test actually hurt. These were some superb tools that lost their lifes! It's not about which one is "the best" but the right one for your own needs. Only a few cheap ones performed mediocre.
Ответить@projectfarm why do you always leave Tekton out of these line-ups. They are good quality, American, and not too expensive. Seems strange to leave such a popular, quality product off the list.
ОтветитьWhat are the torque tools used?
Ответить60% of Facom tools are made in France. Others are made in China, Korea and other parts of Asia.. Facom also owns Britool.
ОтветитьFacom tools are usually made in France, but possibly the fact that this one was not so marked means it was made somewhere else.
ОтветитьHazet scored better than the Gearwrench 90 in arc swing, but worse in the final rankings?
ОтветитьClearly the 'Quick-release' mechanism weakens ratchets, as widely surmised. (Regardless, every ratchet performed beyond my expectations!... If you're lurching 200+ ft lbs on a 3/8" ratchet, you're a knucklehead!)
ОтветитьPlease can you do this test for mini ratchets too, Their quality is so poor, struggling to find a good one
ОтветитьCan you do 1/2 in. ratchets?
ОтветитьVIDEO SUGGESTIONS: so thankfull for this channel was re wathing the jack stand and floor jack tests
ОтветитьI was actually very impressed with how the Snap On performed. When I saw those ratchets when they came out, I thought there’s no way you’re going to be able to put any real force on them without failing.
Although, going through the warranty process would also be a good thing to test. Do they give you any trouble? Do they ask questions and deny your warranty (looking at you SK Tools)? How long is the turn-around time, etc.
Thanks again for all the unbiased, straight to the point testing!
The fat handles drive me crazy, does anyone know why the companies make the handle fat?
ОтветитьOMG, a 16 minutes long commercial. I mean, the content is very nice, but please stop yelling!
ОтветитьAll my FACOM ratchets, wrenches, hammers, EVERYTHING, are made in France. Well made tools. (As revealed in this test)
