The Last Remnant - Nest of Eagles Battle

I suck at this game so majorly xD I was BR60 and still couldn't beat it. FInally beat it at BR65.

You have no idea how glad I am to see this, so far i've attempted to beat this maybe 30 times at BR52 and I have yet to beat it. I've tried every other method but this so I'll give it a try.

Overdrive in this battle only lasts 1 turn, in the end it doesn't really make THAT much of a difference.

i have 4 unions of 3 . 2 melee and 2 mages. i saw a vid that this guys mages had caustic blast and i dont have it should i worry???

this goes down as one of the hardest boss fights in history in my book made me quit the game!

I think I've finally figured out why it's so damn hard. You see, it has a design flaw. All the lackeys are supposed to be wiped out early in the fight by Gae Bolg, which for some reason stays unavailable for the rest of the fight. The fight is fairly easy when you get lucky and Gae Bolg becomes available. I don't know if there's a workaround, but you could try sending David's division towards Castanea in the beginning.

qyestion in the 360 version how do you know what BR you are?

really difficult battle...

I noticed everyone was all like "Try to be at least BR 35 or higher" and I was like "...what BR am I?" I finally figured out what it was. I was BR 16... How on Earth did I even make it THAT far, cause apparently I missed some serious training. XD Am now BR 25, and still training, hoping this match will be more fair. =/ It is a real challenge.

Questions: In the beginning your Moral is about even with the enemies. For me I don't even have a sliver of Moral against them... How? 2. Who is the Double Spear guy with Rush, and the Purple girl with Dave? Where do I get them? 3. How on earth did you acquire this reviving art? 4. Any tips, or things that could help, I'd love if you told me! Please and Thanks!

I have this for the 360 also, but I only have 2 units that i can put into play. How did you get three? Is there a certain quest you have to do, or are you doing a second playthrough?

@topknite For me, I used it 2 times streak : I waited, again and again, and when he was full Ap he used it, two times streak. I think that always works

honestly im new to the game and im on this exact same battle and i hear a lot of people saying its easier to have a high battle rank...i dont know what my battle rank is can anyone help me find out?

I just got my ass beat down three times in this battle. I could handle it if I didn't have that big mother lower my morale at the start. I could handle most large scale battles until now but this is just something else entirely.

the purple haired girl..its a hat and her names nora u get her in athlum she cost 9400c if not their then in the place where the acedemy is at forgot the name of the city.

When I hit the second group the bosses attack me the same time I go into attack the second group. Comparing my guy's to yours I need to upgrade my guys a lot and use David. Is that Torgual you are using btw? Cos his armour looks amazing.

@Iamconfusednow the spear guy and the girl with the wierd hair are from the guild the spear guy is cotman from ballterossa and he starts out with two long orange axes the girl is from one to im not sure where i think you unlock her from a side quest im not sure the morale hes just been playing for a while and getting tons of upgrades like enhancing weapons and stuff do you know how to do it now the only reason im watching is i accidentally deleted all of my game saves to put in portal2 so see U

@Iamconfusednow the revive from dead one is vivification herb its a skill youll pick up just use only herbs to get it by the way the guild people cost money

how on earth is your BR on 50 but you only got like 1,6k health on each group..???

I'm amazed you got here at br 11. Did you skip a lot of fights or are you purposely keeping br low?

Awww... You killed Roeas early. You didn't get to show all their awesome moves.

I don't believe I have skipped many fights, besides not attacking every single enemy I come across. I'm not doing it on purpose, it's my first time playing through the game =)

I see. Well, if you still need advice on this, I'd say try to get an attack that hits everything. I built my Rush as a mage, so he just casts Blackout to clear all of the other squads. David's Gae Bolg would work, if you can get it to trigger. I wouldn't try it until your 3 squads have over 1500 hp, though, as a rule of thumb.

Your BR is 50, does that affect the BR level of the enemy?

I can`t to win this battle, is very dificult, always that i play it, i lose :(

attack the group of enemies behind you and let the npc unit handle the reinforcments, as soon as you kill the guys behind you join the npc unit to kill the rest of the units, try to use gale bolge because it wqill kill everything except the bosses, then leave davids unit without a deadlock and focus on the big guy, try to cast gale bolge again and KEEP HEALING, after either boss is dead the other one will cast overdrive(they attack 4 times in 1 turn so thats why its better to attack the big guy

after that the girl is very easy, i just won this fight today with BR27, the trick in this fight is to first kill the enemy units and then focus on the boss, keep healing and try to use gale bolge and/or omni strike as many times as possible

Beat this map with BR20 there is no need for heavy grinding if your trying to keep a low BR possible, stat grinding in blackdale skull scavenger in obsidian trail is the best until BR 25-30 which gives tons of exp for stats while maintaining low BR

1. "Victory Cry" from the knight boss, reduces morale to zero right at the start. 2. Spear guy Skullz answered. Purple girl is Nora, recruit her in Athlum guild for like 10k gold (I <3 her.) 3. Reviving is possible for anyone with item healing (e.g - Rush). A good way to learn it is to disable your restoration spell healing in your unions and grind, this forces the characters to use item healing and eventually you'll unlock it. Don't forget to buy items to use these heals/revives ;)

Most amazing thing happened. I casted Blackout and Roeas died instantly. I casted it again and Castanea died. Never even deadlocked Roeas.

It was at this fight that I realized how shallow this game is. I was having great fun with it until I was struggling with this fight then got 3 random super attacks in a row for no real reason. It's all just RGN really - luck based crap. It's such a damn shame, this game had some real promise. I hate RGN, I see absolutely no merit to them in any situation, under any circumstances, ever. :-(

Good thing this game is totally based on skill and strategy...oh wait.

Saw other comment. RNG has a lot to do with it, but going on standby until I had the AP for one Blackout after the other (using only one union) was not purely luck. It's not hard, but it's not just luck. Secondly, I'd say most of the skill and strategy in this game comes from building your unions (i.e. formation selection, choice of who's taking which position, et cetera). I'm actually under"leveled" for where I am in the game. If everything was RNG-based, I'd die more often.

Follow up: Unless you're playing the Xbox version where Blackout costs like 1/3 of what it costs on the PC.

srsly... just a piece of shit this mission... just let us see how less they testet it... how the fuck do we win this oO im lvl 38 and the boss one-hit me ... and even the magus squad kills me with 2 spells... srsly piece of crap this game -.-

What I did in just 2-3 Turns:(After millions of trys) 1. ALL units standby and watch 2. Approach the enemies where the guest is fighting(DO NOT USE SKILLS !!) 3. In Davids union, choose an enemy where you can use gae bolg(David has to be leader), reinforcement come. 4.Boss approaching, use rush as leader to omnistrike the boss(i killed the fat guy one hit, also gae bolg gave u a lot of moral) 5. David again, GAE bolg!!! Done. BR was 16, 2 union of 5, one with 2(fat guy can one hit 4 man team)

can u do that with br 9?

holy shit this console version performs like ass

fps worse than dragons dogma, visibly loading during battle animations, taking way too long

I'm BR16 and can't beat this mission!
