When Indian people have extremely dark almost black complexion their skin tends to show a bluish undertone.
I once met a person who was so dark that his normal black hairs looked like 5 shades lighter than his skin complexion. His skin showed a sharp blue undertone. It explained why some of our gods are shown having blue complexion.

Lord Ram is not " Muscular ". Narayan is compared to Lotus.. He is very soft and youthful. It's funny how people are unable to Digest the idea of the supreme Male not having " Six pack abs* and Muscular structure that they associate conventionally to Masculinity.
