To sit down with James, smoking a cigar, and listening to him just talk music, gear, and life sounds absolutely amazing. My idol and the one who inspired me to play guitar 🤘

I knew of Metallica when Kill came out but hadn't heard them because being a broke 17-year-old I only bought albums I already was a fan of but in 84 my bud Mick got a compilation album (Music for Nations). All bands had 1 pic on the back & there was one of these guys with a White Flying V & Rickenbacker bass (my favorite bass & guitar) so I listened to their song on their called Creeping Death & in the 1st two seconds I said this is the greatest Heavy Metal band ever. I love being right.

I love that he mentions God, and how he's a messenger. For me, that speaks volumes about his character, and what kind of a man he is. He'd be such a great guy to interview. I have so many questions. Thank you for the music, the lyrics, the experience. Honored to say I saw him live back in the day.
