Bending that thing back is not what is fixing it, its actually residue on the little bump on the underside of the copper piece where it contacts the bottom contact. The act of taking out the copper piece you're inadvertently cleaning it with your fingers etc without realising. I bent back the copper bit as shown in video, and then the switch wouldn't go in far enough to click when I put it back together, so had to pull it apart a second time and bend it back to original. The double clicking issue was fixed regardless. That's my experience with a G602 mouse, if it helps anyone.
ОтветитьBest video ever! I threw away 2 mice in the last 2 days. Was about to throw out my third one today, but your video saved the life if the third mouse. Thanks for saving this mouse's life!!
ОтветитьI was going to buy a new mouse 'coz of this annoying double click. You're my hero, thank you!
ОтветитьHye, how long it can be last after bending that switch?

Sept-2024. Thanks a lot for saving me from buying a new mouse. I am loyal customer of Logitech G series and repaired my G300s watching this video. Its working perfectly now!
Ответитьfixed my mice 4th time lol this vid always help <3
Ответитьlol thank you so much, i was just like fuck it and follow this step and it actually worked again. tested it on double click test site and after like 300 click there's not a single double click anymore. bless you man
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. It actually shows what to do for each part. I used this for my G602 and forgot to save it... thought I was going to tear my hair out until I found it again. This fix lasts for about two years before it needs to be repeated. I have to actually bend the spring inwards to get it to go back in place, and I clean it with electronic contact cleaner. It's tricky on the G602 left-click since there's a bunch of "stuff" on either side of the switch. I found it's easiest to face the left side of the mouse towards you, even though it feels wrong. Then get your grippiest tweezers (I just used regular slanted eyebrow-pluckin' tweezers lmao) and grip the front side of the spring, but at a corner. Then gently position it on the front and back side at the same time, approaching from the right side of the mouse. Use a smaller pair of tweezers or a toothpick to press the middle part down. I insert the white button into the switch cover with pointed tweezers and put a piece of tape on the top to keep it in place before putting it back.
Ответитьthanks bro i never thought this is gonna work but it did now thank a lot, now i dun have to spend another 20$ to get a new mouse
ОтветитьThanks! Especially for the high-resolution details 👍
Ответитьbest mouse fixing tutorial yet👍
ОтветитьI am so unbelievably proud of myself for pulling this off. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьWelp I only managed to make the click worse. Guess i'm off to eBay to buy another part.
ОтветитьThanks a lot !!! you saved me ! I followed your video and fixed the mouse !
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьBending it made it stop clicking, so I needed to desolder and solder in a clicker from a donor mouse. I would not recommend this.
Ответитьwill this fix model o minus too?
Ответитьthx
Ответитьbefore doing it yourself keep in mind that those parts are very very tiny, i struggled for over 1h to put the copper thing back in place with my shaky ass hands. Also, probably my fault but after assembling it back, the click got way quieter.
ОтветитьYour copper thing is so big broo, why is mine sooo tiny. Okay i finally fixed it thx bro for u help.. my copper was very small compared to urs took me an hour to put it but I fixed it
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH! Saved me some hard earned money. lol
ОтветитьThank you very much! It saved my G502! I had a problem not with dirty contact, but with weak contact tension.
ОтветитьThis solved my problem, thank you.
Ответитьlovee you brooo thxxxxx ♥♥♥♥
Ответитьi guess i will just let go of my 5yo g102.
ОтветитьNever thought this was fixable, i was about to throw mine away... thanks for the video, it worked for me. I cleaned the contacts too as someone said in one of the comments, either or, my mouse is working now 😅😅

Ответитьit took alot of time but it was worth it thanks for sharing such an amazing trick. i won't have to buy a new one
ОтветитьI tried my best to fix my beloved mouse but I think it is dead 😭
Ответитьno
Ответитьthank you so much for this, I used the same method for fixing my G pro superlight and it worked.
ОтветитьFyi most mouse clickers are the same, so I just bought and old deflective mouse and used the left clicker to replace the damaged clicker, good as new. why I used the left clicker over the right clicker on the used mouse is because in general everyone uses the right clicker and rarely used the left side so most likely the right clicker on the used mouse is warned out, hope it helps.
ОтветитьCigarette smoke can cause this problem -- to fix it all you need to do is clean the two pieces of copper where they contact when actuate the switch (no bending necessary).
ОтветитьThank u for this tutorial buddy
ОтветитьThat helped but putting back in that copper spring has almost driven me insane
ОтветитьThose plastic component covering the copper sheet, on some mouse it was dead mould.... no way to open unless cut...
ОтветитьI did it on G Pro wireless mouse. Both right and left click improved. Attaching the metal is really shitty, but I fixed it with a screwdriver and nose scissors. Thanks
ОтветитьPro tip for the little white button in the housing. To keep it in place while reinstalling it, use a piece of painter's tape! Just stick the housing to it, then insert the button into its slot and press down to stick it to the tape, too.
This way you can reinstall it, without losing that stupid little thing, and you just peel the painter's tape off after!
Before you change the switches with time-consuming soldering work, give them another chance with contact spray. A quick spray and then a few quick clicks before the creeping solution has evaporated. Worked wonderfully for me!
ОтветитьThis saved my money and my family

ОтветитьTill this day, It's still helping people out I fixed my Logitech 304 left click with this method although it feels a bit different from before due to adjusting the bracket inside but this is a good way to repair and make your mouse useful again without replacing the whole switch. Thank You!
ОтветитьG pro super light fixed but with less sound and less distance to click
ОтветитьThanks! I bought a new one after smashing it
ОтветитьGraciasss, me funcionó ❤️🩹
