I still can't believe that these people who claim to study the history of Egypt still claim the pyramids were built as "tombs". There's way more evidence that this wasn't the case than there is for it.

When people ask what Egyptians look like why do they never mention their dark skin or them being black? Always trying to keep a mystery of their skin colour even though we’ve see in paintings, statues and artefacts that they were. Obviously after time and the invasion of Islam on Egypt started to lighten the skin and mix ethnicities etc. I know obviously not all Egyptians were black as near the end of the reign they had Macedonians present. But it would be nice for people to acknowledge it.

I think that any ancient civilization that stored grain was obsessed with cats. Or rather they were obsessed with the idea of keeping mice and rodents out of their grain stores.

I always thought the Ancient Egyptians wore eyeliner to keep the sun from their eyes. If you look at tabby cats, they naturally have that 'eyeliner' black marking around their eyes and it helps as a sun block. I hope someone can verify.

The Egyptians used eye liner due to the sun glare, putting dark lining under your eyes will A: help prevent long term blindness. B: Saves the skin of sun wrinkling. C: Beauty was a huge thing for them and makeup is for beauty.

Discernment rather than Judgemental:
Mainstream Academics/Archaeologists,/Egyptologsts
will realize that the "Standards of Science and Research" will remain the value and ethical code of practice because they aid in reaching the Greater Facts, and reject all Belief, Theories, Opinions, and all the "Lower Mind aka Ego Mind aka Adolescent Mind" ideas/ideologies.

"Mainstream Academics" holds ia "19th Century Theory based Paradigm and Linear Timeline used as their foundation of fact."

The "Standards of Science and Research" prohibits using a Theory as Fact. Supports Freedom of Thought and qualifying Alternative Theories based on facts, artifacts, other Science data, and Peer Reviewed Science Findings.

"Higher Mind aka Mature Mind aka Adult Mind" holds all our Positive Thought Energies and is where Wisdom resides. This 8s why the original Academic teachings included the practice of being in the Higher Mind.

Conscious in Thought + Applying Higher Mind 🔑

Discernment rather than Judgemental

Those whom adhere to the "Standards of Science and Research" are known as "Authentic Academics".

Interesting he dodged the race question which is what the question about appearance was all about. Those old Egyptians liked to remove a lot of their body hair, I guess that climate isn't good for hairy people and hygiene. My question: What wonderful and useful things did the Egyptians create? Pyramids and desiccated corpses not included, since they are a waste of time, money and weird.

Cats literally have been first domesticated in that region... not just in Egypt, but very much including Egypt. And by domesticated I mean they domesticated themselves. And out of all the other concurrect civilizations, Egyptians were indeed the most fascinated by them.

For people disappointed greatly by this video like I was, I recommend a similar video by Wired where another Egyptologist answers questions much better.

Also, im no expert but saying that you dont know most of these qns, heavily implies that some of the feats the egyptians had achieved were impossible and could encourage the wrong ideas. There are indeed a few ways ancient egyptians could have carved granite and built the pyramids through. The only thing is, we don't know which method they used specifically. Regardless, they were perfectly capable of doing so and answering this question with 'idk' implies otherwise imo.

Reading the comments.. It occurs to me (and I'm not immune to it) that we act very entitled and ungrateful for any knowledge from an expert that is entirely free. I think to 20 years ago and I didn't have these resources at my fingertips. Back then I didn't even have regular internet without my phone. And there was no just watching or listening to random free things online. You had to buy almost everything, upload your own CDs or burn your own CDs.. If you didn't have "cable TV", we call ours DSTv, or back then mnet. You had just 3 free channels on TV. Most not in your language. Shows like Dr Phil and The Bold and the Beautiful during the day. Nowadays one doesn't need to even own a TV. Just chill and enjoy the gift. 😅
