Girls Chordettes, this is the best quartet, we remember and love!

Doris Alberti on the left, (Recruited for a 1988 comeback). Lynn Evans (with the group since 1952) Nancy Overton (performed with the group on stage from 1958- 1961 but not on records) and Jean Swain (Nancy’s sister— recruited for the 1988 comeback).

They sounded great, didn't they?

Love seeing the girls perform! But that TV show RUINED The Nashville Network forever. When they got rid of Ralph Emery and cancelled Nashville Now the whole thing headed downhill fast.

I knew the Greek version of Never On Sunday by Nana Mouskouri, but this is the first time hearing it in English. The Chordettes' "Lollypop" is irreplaceable. ❤

All the frenetic hand movements are very distracting, plus the movement is negatively affecting their singing. They’d have been better off not doing all the unnecessary movement.

They are as wonderful as ever, if not more!
